mods doesn't working

hi;
i put cars mods in gta 5 via OPEN IV but when i launch gta 5 and tried to find putted car ,there was not any news cars;
put mod i used instuction ;

@toqchista You did wrong, you installed your mods in the original files Not in mod folder,
look at your video : in openiv there is the red notification "show in mod folder" and if you look at the left you will see your dlcpacks folder with an add on so I guess you should switch your update folder (in Grand Theft Auto V folder and Mods folder) Only if it's still all vanilla or If you have a back up replace the update folder.
Remember you can be banned if you go online without having original files, Rockstar is not a fan of online modders in their buisness.
Your Pepsy Mule is located in Patchday3,
You also could read the "readme" he said: " use control+f3 in open iv "
it makes a search in all game file to find the model , because some new patch contains the same models, choose the model from the more recent between them

@Rjvisser01 If you block your game with your firewall yes, but if you want to upgrade it one day you will have to download all the rpf file, and there is the risk if you screw up a file with a misclick and forget to back up, I was doing the same at the beginning but it's not usefull .
It's more safe to have everything up to date and a mod folder, the best to me to avoid conflicts.

@Rjvisser01 Uh... yeah, you do. Because some aspects of your game start to slowly deteriorate and when it does, a lot of shit comes down with it. Also, if you need to install an update, the updater will kill every mod it sees. This is why I use a mods folder, and why you should too.
Whenever a new update for GTA 5 comes out, I always move my mods folder somewhere where it can't be touched by the updater. I don't move my scripts because some scripts (trainers more than likely) usually update more often than the game does.

@Rjvisser01 I have the retail version, I didn't took it to steam not as you because I don't trust Rgame with their banishment politics so at least it won't interfere with my steam account. Hope it will works longer as it can for you but I am still thinking it's not the safe way .

@toqchista because you put the mule in patchday2ng but the next update (patchday3ng) also included vanilla mule so in game you will see vanilla mule (there is a load dlc loader) , it happen lot of time with old mods so to be sure put it in a recent patchday
every dlc have almost the same order it's always dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicle.rpf

@cgz An easy way to get rid of this updated vanilla models problem is to put the models in the latest patchday DLC.

@toqchista Yep but if you haven't the last version of the game i don't know if scripthook is working with older version of the game so I guess it wont work. you need to be on 944.2, the last patch (importexport)

@toqchista There's no separate online GTA V, and if you don't have a legally bought copy, we won't be able to help you. It's because discussions about pirated content aren't allowed in the forum.
Buy the game on Steam, or from Rockstar's site. You missed a great chance to buy it 50% off.
