@Martijnvdlaar The error is showing you have game version 678 installed - are you sure you're on the latest patch? Are you using the retail or Steam version?
-
@rappo Retail, maybe i don't have the last patch... Where can i download this patch?
-
@Martijnvdlaar Run the game, login through the Rockstar Launcher and the game will auto-update to the latest patch automatically.

The update is brand new. It's called Import-Export.
It includes a variety of new vehicles, more mod patches, more weapons, blah, blah, blah.
Basically it's more shit.
-
@Martijnvdlaar Is this a pirated version of GTA? Try updating your game
-
But GTA is up-to-date? I can't update my GTA any further? @krashadam @LeeC2202 @rappo
-
@Martijnvdlaar Your game is version 678, the latest version is 944, you are at least three patches behind. 757, 791, 877 and 944

@LeeC2202 Here are screens:
And i don't know what for information is here ... But the here another screen!
Is there any patch download for the latest? Because i want a safe patch and my GTA isn't probaly updating at all... Can you help me to go further or help with some steps?

@Martijnvdlaar Well the first thing I notice is that image is not showing a valid version number on the launcher, there is a section missing. Compare these two numbers, your launcher is at the top, mine is at the bottom.
Yours should be showing 1.0.231.0|1.0.678.1|1.1.7.8|1.0.505.2|FFP so that makes me think you have a corrupt Social Club Launcher. I would suggest letting the game verify your game files. At this point I would advise making a copy of your complete GTAV folder as a backup, just in case something goes wrong.
If you have the Steam version, then you can verify the game files through the Steam Client.
If you have the Retail/DVD version, it's not difficult, just a bit more fiddly as you need to change the properties of your game shortcut. Fortunately, I have some info already made for that situation:
Somewhere in your Start Menu, or even on your desktop already, will be a shortcut to the GTAV game. If the shortcut is in your Start Menu, right-click and drag that shortcut to your desktop, choosing Create shortcuts here and that will give you a new shortcut on your desktop. If the shortcut is already on your desktop, then you simply need to right-click and drag the shortcut, and choose Copy here when you release the mouse-button.
Now we have the shortcut, we need to change one of the values, so right-click the shortcut and choose Properties. There should be some text already highlighted in the Target box. That text should say something like this (Note: the drive letter will probably be different on your PC, I used X: as an example):
"X:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\PlayGTAV.exe"
What you need to do, is add [SPACE]-verify onto the end of that, to end up with something that looks like this:
"X:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\PlayGTAV.exe" -verify
Run the game once with that shortcut but once you have done that, remember to not use it again unless you need to verify your files again, otherwise it will verify your files every time you run the game.
Verifying the game will put all the files in your main GTAV folder back to their default state and should install all patches to bring the game up to date. It won't affect any mods or scripts folder, nor will it affect any asi mods, scripthook or openiv files in your main GTAV folder. But make a backup just in case.
Your save games and video clips should also be safe but if you are worried about them, make a backup of those too. It is always better to have a backup that you don't need, rather than lost files you can't get back.
So that's what I would advise, the rest is up to you...

@LeeC2202 Thanks for the information! I let you guya know if it worked, or not

@LeeC2202
My RagePluginHook starts up my gta v but he doesn't start the story mode game.
I have a .log here for you!http://www.mediafire.com/file/kr2mdknbbaisnmm/RagePluginHook.log
-
@Martijnvdlaar Then I would guess that your crash is being caused by something unrelated to Rage. That log seems to show the game loading fine. I would remove every script you are using that has nothing to do with Rage and try again.
Check the ScripthookV.log, check the ScriptHookVDotNet.log (if you are using that), check the asiloader.log. But as far as Rage goes, that seems to be loading fine:

@LeeC2202 My whole GTA is crashing now? And it says it is don't verified but i have the serial key and the boughted version...
-
@Martijnvdlaar Sounds like some of the original files have been modified... you will need to let it verify the game files. Do you have the steam version or retail?
-
@LeeC2202 Retail version.
-
@Martijnvdlaar *<snip>* Sorry for the duplicate information.
-
@LeeC2202 I already did this? And my GTA Still doesn't doeing it.
-
@Martijnvdlaar I've just read up the post and noticed I have already posted this... really sorry about that.
Saying that though, I don't see why it says you have not verified after you have done it... that doesn't make any sense.
You're going to have to post a screenshot of your GTAV folder and I will use my retail folder to compare against. I can then mark which files you need to remove, to try and get back to a completely clean game. Once we have a clean game working, we can then try and get your mod working.

@Martijnvdlaar Ok... all the files/folders I have marked in yellow on this picture, are not part of a clean GTAV installation. So the first thing you need to do, is make a folder somewhere and move every file/folder marked in yellow, into that new folder. That means that the only things left, are the ones in white.
Once you have done that, run the verification again and then run the game with your now completely clean installation. At this point, don't install any mods of any kind, not even ScriptHookV.
You may have to reinstall your mods and plugins again after this but the simple fact is, until we know a clean install works, chasing mods and plugins is a fruitless task. And as your game doesn't work at all at the moment, you've got nothing to lose.
