Game won't load missions, new game, and character won't die

After installing about 5 car mods and a new game configuration my game shows and acts correctly until engaging in combat and when trying to start missions. My character in story mode will just walk up to the person who starts the mission and the game will zoom in like it's going to start the mission but never does. I'm free to roam the world but then all the icons are missing on the map afterwards. Please help

Same problem for me but mine start to stuck after a memory crash i believe that maybe we need new config.xml
