@Gtavgamer Your picture isn't displaying, I think you need a different link from your image host, that links directly to the image... should end in .jpg or .png depending on what type of image it is.

@Gtavgamer That works and if you take that address, click the "Picture" button and paste that text where it says (
image url
) it will show up in the thread as an actual picture.I have never seen that error though.
Found this on the Steam forums that might help. http://steamcommunity.com/app/271590/discussions/0/305509857564471710
If you don't have the Steam version I have the instructions for the Retail version that do the same thing.
-
@LeeC2202 i have the retail...

@Gtavgamer Okay, there is a fair amount of work involved in this, so take your time and do things slowly.
If you are worried about doing this... make a backup of your game folder before you go any further, along with your My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTAV folder
Somewhere in your Start Menu, or even on your desktop already, will be a shortcut to the GTAV game. If the shortcut is in your Start Menu, right-click and drag that shortcut to your desktop, choosing Create shortcuts here and that will give you a new shortcut on your desktop. If the shortcut is already on your desktop, then you simply need to right-click and drag the shortcut, and choose Copy here when you release the mouse-button.
Now we have the shortcut, we need to change one of the values, so right-click the shortcut and choose Properties. There should be some text already highlighted in the Target box. That text should say something like this (Note: the drive letter will probably be different on your PC, I used X: as an example):
"X:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\PlayGTAV.exe"
What you need to do, is add [SPACE]-verify onto the end of that, to end up with something that looks like this:
"X:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\PlayGTAV.exe" -verify
Run the game once with that shortcut but once you have done that, remember to not use it again unless you need to verify your files again, otherwise it will verify your files every time you run the game.
Verifying the game will put all the files in your main GTAV folder back to their default state and should install all patches to bring the game up to date. It won't affect any mods or scripts folder, nor will it affect any asi mods, scripthook or openiv files in your main GTAV folder. But make a backup just in case.
Your save games and video clips should also be safe but if you are worried about them, make a backup of those too. It is always better to have a backup that you don't need, rather than lost files you can't get back.

@LeeC2202 thx check that out and back to you
-
@LeeC2202 WELL IVE TEST THAT OUT...AND NOTHING STILL SAME ISUUE..
-
@Gtavgamer You know, when you start SHOUTING at people, you have less chance of them wanting to help.
-
@LeeC2202 i didnt shout on you...that is that keyboard;
-
@Gtavgamer Then I apologise.
So let me just check the current state of things.
- You have verified all of your files using the steps I wrote above?
- You have no mods of any kind installed in your game? That means no mods folder and no scripts folder, no ScriptHookV, dinput8.dll or openiv.asi installed?
Is that correct and you are getting this error with a completely unmodified game?
-
@LeeC2202 well have mods folder and redux mod,and script hook and all..
-
@Gtavgamer All that information should have been in your first post... we can't solve a problem, if you don't tell us all of the details.
Anything in your mods folder could be causing that problem, or it could even be a script. So when you have problems like this and you have verified your files, you have to make sure that none of the other modded items are loading.
Once that you know a perfectly clean set of game files works, then you can start trying to work out what might be causing the problem.
So the next thing you need to do, is remove ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll from your game folder. That will make the game run with no mods installed at all.
-
@LeeC2202 script hook scriptvnet more then 100+ add-ons car
meynno mod,enchead native trainer...thats all i think..and import exportin sp
-
@Gtavgamer Okay, when you remove ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll, all of that will stop loading. So remove those two files and then post back with what happens when you run the game.
-
@LeeC2202 well same isuuse men...not let me loading..:\
-
@Gtavgamer Post an image of your GTAV folder please.
-
1.Remove all the mods (Including scripthook , mods folder etc...)
2.Play online...
You can't join Online with mods
-
@HeySlickThatsMe It took that long for him to post any information about having mods installed, I had forgotten that the original problem was about going online.
I really need to switch off my browser when I'm coding... thanks for stepping in and kicking the thread back on track.
-
@LeeC2202 ill upload soon...my computer make so isuue
-
@Gtavgamer Your best bet is to do what @HeySlickThatsMe says, if you want to play online, remove ALL mods.
