List of gta 5 mods
-
Hello. For a very long time i've been looking for a complete, up to date, top to bottom recommended/must have list of gta 5 mods. Sort of like a guide like STEP for Skyrim. Until now i have found none. My wish is to find one so i can start modding my gta 5 to the max. Could someone link one or even create one? I'd really appreciate it.

@enjoythekilling Depends on what you want really. What kinds of mods are you looking for?

@stormplanet Don't hijack other people's threads. Use your own to ask questions.

@rappo Everything and all the mods that improve the game. Graphics, gameplay enhancements, new features or replace existing features with better ones, add new stuff like weapons and vehicles or land masses. Or new player homes or places to visit. Many more things i couldn't think of right now. Look at this list for example for Skyrim http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn

No offence to author, but most of these mods in the list for Skyrim are at very least only his own tastes plus big bunch of mods are trash/outdated/replaced by better ones. Each day several mods get released, so you can find some useful and needed among them almost every time. I seriously don't get those guides, I mean if you want certain feature or object, you just type it in google or in modding site search box and if there is such mod it'll most likely pop up.
Also as Frazzlee said, ppl should understand that GTA V doesn't support modding like TES or FO does, you can't just drop in 500 plugins, activate them in mod menu and start playing, some scripts will conflict with others, some models will mess with other ones, if you get too much mods or incompatible ones, you will only break your game, so you must be really careful and mindful of what you install for GTA V, it's much more difficult modding it than Skyrim.
Asking what you want exactly would be more sensible.

@Forrest-Gimp It's always been hard for me to pick mods i like. Because i just don't know what i like. I always follow other peoples advice regarding this. I know how to mod my game and i made mods myself for other games. I'm an expierenced computer user. But the choice of what to combine is too hard. Weird i know.

@enjoythekilling Like three people before me said:
Rockstar does not support modding
meaning mods will conflict, and not all go together. There are no "combinations" for this game. There are no "official" way to make modpacks. You make them yourself, find if they work together or not, stuff like that. You can combine lots of car mods to make 70s traffic. You can combine different scripts for realism. It's all up to you. If some of them work, you can "kind of?" maybe make a modpack but eh, why bother.
