@Vans123 I feel you. Although, I'm not being paranoid, I'm just worried I'll get in trouble. Is that paranoia? No.
Also, they don't have to flag "every bit of modification" for me to get a warning. We do reverse engineer the game for this mod, in many ways.
I'm confused, though. Are you angry at me for haulting release of a mod that uses a platform getting shut-down by TakeTwo, or are you simply stating that you want me to release the mod, just because we don't know enough information about what's going on?

Nevertheless, this complicates things for me. I'll probably just pass this mod onto someone else who has my source code. I guess I'm being too "paranoid" right now, to release it myself.

You should be like me guys, I'm not worried at all as everything will keeps being the same (maybe LC won't be here, but well...). We won't have Take-Two approvation, but who cares? For me their C&D as like another paper I drop to the trash...

@Reyser Yeah, you're right. I'm going to wait for an official statement (as well as other devs) and then we will release the mod as soon as we can. Let's just hope that "statement" doesn't declare dlc content as "[violating] Take-Two's rights".
(which is entirely possible, since OpenIV has nothing to do with online features)

@sollaholla This mod is far too good to just give up on, and you guys have spent a lot of time and effort getting this far - it would be a massive shame to kill it off now.

Edit: If someone made drinking non-starbucks coffee illegal, would you still drink other coffee? Of course, except it'd suck if you got in trouble for it, and couldn't work for Starbucks in the future.

I'm just going to ignore this whole thing, and move on. If we don't hear from T2, this is getting released. Honestly, when shit like this happens it usually boils over, and then dies in like a week. I'm not gonna get caught up in the hype, and just keep developing.
As a matter of fact, this shit's probably a troll. Let's be honest, why all of a sudden would TakeTwo give a fuck about offline modding? That's horse shit. Maybe they did, and if so, they're idiots.

No, I was asking that because this is my WIP thread and usually people come to see how progress is going and when things are getting released, sorry for the misunderstanding. I feel so bad, now. :C

Dude, there are car mods after car mods of supercars from that fucking Forza game.
You don't see them getting C&D's from Rockstar much. I know that some modders do, but there's a fair share of them that haven't yet, and I think you're farther away from that list like everyone else is.
If Rockstar really did hate us as modders, they'd have this site torn down already. But they can't legally call for it, because in a way, money is being made here, and if they were to cut this site down, they'd be cutting revenue, to which it'll bite 'em in the ass in the end of it all. (They lose reputation. Reputation = Revenue. If this doesn't exist for a company, that company is severely fucked.)

Release the mod anyways. People will be able install the mod. Some may struggle but they will figure it out. Plus, there will be tons of cracked OpenIV's floating around that will not need the Firewall trick.

@sollaholla We can handle mods forever, we can get DLC files and get necessary new things to work. We only lost the ability to access the future game scripting functions, but not exists nothing that we can't do with modding and we always can do it better yeah! (More funny and enjoyable as least).
Our games has been frozen to be able for mods but can keep growing.

@sollaholla As we say in my country "Relax parcero, vamo pa' delante" (relax brother, keep going ahead). A lot of people and me wants your Grand Theft Space, is too much work and time expended on this by you and the team. Sure T2 will to copy this idea in a future but not so complete and plenty dedicated to the History Mode. For me this project is in the top of all mods, practically a new game mode worthy of be played for thousands of gamers around the world.
