Update folder is empty

Im trying to install car mods and all the tutorials i see involve going to the update folder in openIV. But my update folder is empty. Usually i see them click a file named x64 in the update folder but i dont have that. I have it on the left side where i can find levels/models but when i try to install cars that way it never works. I get the "___ was no found" message". Did something get deleted or did i delete something on accident? I just got the game as of yesterday and havent touched anything in the files until a few hours ago. Any help would be appreciated

Which update folder? By the time you get round to installing any car mods, you should have two update folders... one in the main game folder and one in your mods folder. As you haven't told us which one is empty, we have no information to go on.

I only have one, i watched a video about moving it in the mods folder so thats what i did, but there was no update folder prior to doing so in the mods folder
