Game keeps crashing after installing mod!! PLEASE HELP ME

So I've been trading to mod add-on cars but my game keeps crashing. Like most say i go to my mod folder then to update/dlcpacks and create a new folder to add the dlc.rpf After that i just follow the steps with adding lines in OpenIV. But when i start story mode it still crashes. I've heard about gameconfig.xl or something but I really dont know what to do with that. Can anyone please help here or on discord/skype?

Could you give me a step to step tutorial? I have a mods folder with update in it but no car mods yet.
