Please run Grand Theft Auto V using PlayGTAV.exe

Hi,

I am new to modding, I have followed the tutorial but I am getting the following error when running GTAV.exe. Please run Grand Theft Auto V using PlayGTAV.exe

Help would be much appreciated.

@Provost That's because you can't run the game directly from the GTAV.exe file. Use either PlayGTAV.exe or GTAVLauncher.exe.

@Provost If you have the retail version, just launch it with the other exe's or with Steam.

I get the social club come up saying...

Launcher error. Code: 115 The game was not launched via the Steam Client,

Then another error, Grand Theft Auto V is already running...

I don't have a PlayGTAV.exe file

@Provost Then try restarting your PC or check the Taskmanager for a task called Grand Theft Auto V and launch it with Steam

But I have copied my GTA files to Grand Theft Auto V - Mods so I leave the original one to use via steam. Is this not possible?

Never mind, sorted it. I wasn't changing the folder name back before running, thanks.
