unable to replace cars
-
i have been unable to replace cars on my GTA V after replacing like up to 10 cars
-
@deprince To help you we need more information
-
when i replace the car and i try swaping it the car still goes back to it orginal state
-
@deprince
Then you are replacing the cars in a previous patchday rpf. The game loads them from another one.
After each update R* sometimes puts the car models again in a later rpf archive and loads those.
Can you imagine all this redunancy?Try searching in a higher number? So for instance not patchday12ng but patchday13ng

@deprince I've moved this into troubleshooting for you, as it seems a more suitable section for it.
-
@ReNNie pls explain in more detail i should understand
-
@deprince Here's an example.
The vehicle sultan is in two places, x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf and update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
If you replace the vehicle in x64e.rpf the game will use the one in patchday3ng, because that one is the newest version. So when you replace a vehicle, you have to replace the newest version of the files to make them appear in-game.
Or the best way to make sure it works, is to add them to the latest patchday folder, which is currently patchday13ng. So you would add them in update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday13ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
Or should I say, you would copy the patchday13ng to your mods folder and replace them in there, which would be mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday13ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
