[MAP] convert a bought scene to gta

  • Hello everyone,
I want to buy a scene from turbosquid but i have no idea if it is possible to convert it to gta 5?
    This is the scene
    https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-ruined-scene/726842

It's a lot of money so i want to be sure that this is possible to do before i buy it.
    Thanks!

  • Yeah, it's possible. You can currently bring it in via a multiplayer client (not sure how it's called again) or a prop.
In the future OpenIV will even allow us to bring it in as a 'real map'.

ok cool, do you know someone i can ask to do this because i have no idea.
I'm trying to learn it myself by watching video's.

  • @denedwin

Oh my damn-- someone needs to get this made.

  • I can do it, but for when do you want this map model? I'm busy with projects until beginning of April but if you want, this can be one of the projects for that month. Looks huge and sure demands a bit of more effort than the traditional map mods until now.

  • @Rarefacer Thanks for the reply man
Do you now where i can find some video's on how to actually convert this and put it into gta?

I understand that you have a lot of work and therefore i will contact you in April if nobody else wan't to do it.
    Thanks

  • @denedwin
The essence of the object convertions to add elements on the map using the tool GIMS Evo, is this one

For complex maps like the you have, is necessary to add more hierarchy elements and subdivide the map in some models because the game turns laggy when a high polygon count map is added as a single mesh.

I searched more videos about GIMS Evo usage and just appears these:

  • @denedwin I'd ask the author for permission if you don't want complaints. And yes, it's possible using Add-On Props and Map Editor/Menyoo's Object Spooner (using Add-On props and an object spooner (Whether Menyoo's object spooner or Map Editor))

  • @krashadam That was my intention if i am sure to buy this scene.

  • @Rarefacer thanks for your time to search the video's!
Will contact you if you have time again
