How - Edit YFT files? Changing embedded DDS texture? (Flags)
-
Hello,
I'm trying to make a flag mod, and I have a DDS file I want to use, but I can't replace the embedded DDS file in yft.
What do I need to do?
Do I need zmodeller for this?
How do I get zmodeller/the program I need?
Is the program I need free/cheap?Thank you!

@Namie243 edit the ytd. It's the texture file
-
@Kwebbl That didn't work. The yft files for x64c have DDS's embedded. Changing the ytd didn't do anything. I changed the ytd images with the same 256 x 128, DDS with 6 mid maps settings too.
So do all yft's have DDS's from ytd files embedded?
When I changed the ytd, the DDS's in the yft's had the same image as before.

@Namie243 That's because the yft uses its own textures. So extract the yft or ydr to OpenFormats. The textures get deflated so you can edit them (in DDS or PNG form) and then you'll see them changed ingame.

@Namie243 This is good for all things embedded, texture wise. https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/texture-toolkit
