@FoxtrotDelta I'm typing this answer in IE11 and it's the same problem as I am getting in Firefox. One browser I'd agree that it could be browser related, two browsers and that seems more site related.

@LeeC2202 now i remember, i had this problem 2 days ago. for a short while. but didn't happen again. i thought it was the internet speed or something. or may be because was not using my own desktop.

@LeeC2202 Sorry I didn't quite follow - the misplaced username dropdown appears if you're on fullscreen in IE11?

@rappo he means when he types @ and tries to tag users. the list of users does not appear for him.

@FoxtrotDelta This happens to me too - sometimes.

@rappo Ah... I have narrowed it down to it being dependent on where I am in the reply box when I try and use it. If you look at this image, you can see that when I am on the top line of the message, it doesn't activate... but when I am here, it does.
Edit: Oooh, I have also discovered this same problem is why the smileys don't show up all the time, that dropdown has the same problem as this one.
