Welcome to the GTA5-Mods.com community forums!

@GTATerminal I think I disabled it now... can you try editing a post that's more than 15 minutes old?
-
@rappo Went ahead and tried.

Sadly it's still giving the 15 minute error.
-
@GTATerminal Hah alright thanks, will work on it a bit more
-
@rappo Haha, no problems. Hopefully it'll work out eventually.
-
@GTATerminal Eh I just changed the limit to a year... good enough for now!
-
@rappo Ahaha, yea, well, that works as well!
-
@rappo Could be possible a button that let us go to the "gta5-mods.com" profile of the people here on "forums.gta5-mods.com"?
When I tried to go to the KAMELKFB profile to see his mods, I couldn't see them because I was here, in Forums, and here we can't see his mods profile, and maybe a button that let us go to it would help.
-
@Reyser For sure! That is a must in my opinion, I will do it soon
-
@rappo Perfect, thanks for the quick reply
Also, I noticed that there's no notifications sound, and I received a message, here the SS:

-
@Reyser @rappo This is perfect, helping each other improving this forum, that's the way it should be!
-
Finally, a even better way to keep contact with the modders! :D, thanks rappo!

@rappo Another thing I found that could be better, on our signature, we have a limit of 255 characters, and mine is almost at limit. The problem is, if we want to use Bold text, these tinted text uses 4 asterisks, 2 in front and 2 in back of the word/phrase, and these are consuming characters space.
What's my idea?
Well, something like social network Twitter use (if it didn't be implemented yet), that let us to write a bit more because Twits doesn't count characters inside a hashtag or link.
-
@Reyser This. This and all of this. 255 is definitely not enough since most signatures include links, and also need to look good.
You need a lot of characters to be able to achieve that.
Even my signature is almost at the breaking point
-
@GTATerminal In fact, and I think it'll be better for Modders than for me and others, because as you said, they (and you
) will leave some links to their/your mods, and also to any other information, for example:
- Which is your rig specifications. (Like I did on my signature)
- Mods or people that you promote/support, including a banner/gif/image or simply text.
- And many more things.
We'll see if Rappo will do something at respect
-
@Reyser Exactly! You nailed it!
-
wich internet language should i use to edit my signature like yours ? i tried several but failed all the way lol and now i have my noob sig , i don't want link in my sig
-
@ChOcOsKiZo [link text](link url)
-
@GTATerminal ok thanks
-
@ChOcOsKiZo No problem!
-
@Reyser @GTATerminal Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if I can make that 255 limit only be after the Markdown parsing, instead of before.
-
@rappo Sweet! Thank you!
-
@rappo Perfect
-
@Rappo First off, I want to say thank you for implementing a forums feature. This is awesome! It will be a great place for modders to converse about certain things.
For a suggestion, I was wondering if it was possible that we could have the option change our names on the main site and the forums at least once?
-
@WestsideOutlaw187 No sorry, but you can always message me to change your username.
-
@rappo Latest question today (
): Would be possible to implement a Vote Sistem like the one used here on Forums (each comment have it), but for comments section on gta5-mods.com?
Sometimes when we are talking with people about a mod/thing, their/our latest answer doesn't have to be answered (just to avoid spamming and putting useless comments on comments section), but I think that some of us wants to give a "check" or "like" to the latest comment, to let him/her know that we have read the comment and the conversation has ended.
I think isn't something imprescindible, but as I tested on Forums comments, it's a nice and usefull feature. An example, you voted up some of my comments because you liked it or to let me know that you have read it without the need to reply.
