GTA5 Mods on Steam?

Hey guys, newbie here...I've searched the forums but am not finding a direct (quick) answer so I thought I oughta post my question here. I apologize if this has been answered.
I only have GTA on PS4 however wanting to get it for PC...are these mods on this site compatible to work on GTA via steam or would I need to get GTA as a stand alone PC game not incorporated on steam?
