The New Grand Theft Auto Update: 1.0.1011.1

@Namie243 Script Hook V, for starters. If you update your game, until Script Hook V updates, don't even touch the mods.

@LeeC2202 I wonder what else they are releasing. It cannot be a DLC with a one car inside.. I'll keep an eye out for any updates from Rockstar.
O, I'd take an update with only 1 car!
(Read: no essentual breakage)

My cynical guess... a bunch of hard-drive filling data, that gives us nothing but more headaches and problem to solve. I really wish they'd just stop.
-
@LeeC2202 Anyone could've guessed that.
@meimeiriver There'll be at least a new update.rpf and a new gta5.exe. So we can expect our mods to be broken after 14.

@Namie243 said in GTA: Online is about to be updated:
this is the first update I will experience on PC.
I've gone through 1.0.350, 1.0.372, 1.0.505, 1.0.573, 1.0.617, 1.0.678, 1.0.757, 1.0.791, 1.0.877 and the current version, 944.

Last day to enjoy your mods before R* break them.

Has it happened yet on STEAM? I 'unplugged' mine yesterday. But I figured if it hasn't happened yet, I can gain 1 more day before re-validation.
-
@meimeiriver I have "unplugged" Steam as well. @LeeC2202 said he received an update today.

Thanks for the swift reply!

I see the ScriptHookV page has begun the meltdown process... I guess that means the forum is heading for a wave of "My scripts don't work" posts... oh joy.
-
@LeeC2202 I got some popcorn, as I just love to read those comments.
Apparently the new version is 1.0.1011.1.
Thats's a lots of 1s.

@LeeC2202 @meimeiriver
Got some more info about the stuff we are getting.
Source: https://twitter.com/FoxySnaps
The update weights about 1.15 GB.
It features 20 new circuits for Cunning Stunts races. - Who cares?
And the Progen GP1, of course.
Pegassi Infernus Classic
HIJACK RUSTON
Grotti Turismo Classic
And some bunch of clothes for online.
-
@V4D3R Is a new update out?
-
@Kwebbl Yup, go check your game, if you dare.
-
@V4D3R Those are sick looking cars!
Wonder whether, later on, we can just extract those, for our own DLC's, and forego on all the new Online stuff.

You meant without waiting till Script Hook V and trainers update? If you are anxious to try them, yeah, you can do that.
-
So after the update can someone confirm if downgrading works? After downgrading to previous update. The Game no longer executes on Steam. No process for gta5.exe or gta5launcher.exe after click play game... did they update registry or steamapi64.dll to drop previous updates from executing? Im also re downloading the entire game to see if this fixes the ability to downgrade.. I will keep you guys posted!
-
@V4D3R So we're basically getting 1.1GB of useless hard drive filler... again.
-
checking on all of this now

Exactly. Though I do like the classic cars.
-
gp1, infernus2, ruston, turismo2
-
Added the new cars to popgroups already. I knew they'd disappear when I get close, so I treated the new cars like replace mods, and replaced some cars for sale on Legendary Motorsports in single player.
Impatience 101

So, these cars despawn too in Single Player?!

@meimeiriver Happens with every update until the MP vehicles in SP mod gets updated.

Yeah, I wasn't around back when to witness it, but I recall placing an mpimportexport.asi script in my root to prevent those cars from despawning. I thought that would stop despawning for future reference too. Guess not.
