How to spawn added vehicles ingame

  • I figured I'd do a quick tutorial on how to spawn added vehicles via a trainer in the game since I've seen a few people ask about it.
    I've only used Sjaak327's Simple Trainer so I'm not sure if the second method works for other trainers, but the first method should work for basically every trainer that has a vehicle spawning feature.

    For the methods below, we'll be using Aige's 2014 McLaren P1.

    METHOD #1 (Easiest)

    1. After installing the vehicle, open the "vehicles.rpf" file where you added the new vehicle files. If the vehicle is a DLC Pack (like the P1 in this case is) you can find the vehicles.rpf file in "\update\x64\dlcpacks\DLCPACK NAME\dlc.rpf\x64\vehicles.rpf"
    2. Find the vehicle that you just added and check the name of the .yft & .ytd files. (In this case the files are called p1)
    3. Open the game, open your trainer and then in the trainer find the Vehicle Spawning menu
    4. Find an option that says "Spawn by name" or anything that is close to that. In Simple Trainer for example it's called "Spawn Vehicle by Model Name"
    5. Now just type in the name of the vehicle files. In this case I would just type in "p1" (without the quotation marks) and it will spawn the vehicle

    METHOD #2 (A little bit harder but still somewhat easy)

    3. Open the "trainerv.ini" file (located in the main folder of the game) with Notepad/Notepad++ or whatever text editing program you're using
    4. Search for a line that says "//Added Cars //" (without the quotation marks)
    5. You should now see a bunch of lines that look like the one below
      Enable1=0
      ModelName1=turismor
      DisplayName1=Car 1
    6. Edit these lines so that they look like the ones below
      Enable1=1
      ModelName1=p1 (the name in the .yft & .ytd files)
      DisplayName1=2014 McLaren P1 (the name you want to see in game when you open the trainer)
    7. Open the game, open your trainer and then in the trainer find the Vehicle Spawning menu
    8. Find the "Added Vehicles Menu"
    9. The first vehicle listed in the menu is now the P1, you can spawn it by clicking NumPad5 on your keyboard (or whatever button you've assigned to that)
    10. The vehicle will now remain in that list and you can always spawn it by opening the menu again

    Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not sure if this method works for any other trainer besides Simple Trainer, so if anybody knows if other trainers (such as Menyoo) have a feature like this, please let me know how they work so I can add it to the tutorial!

  • Very nicely detailed tutorial.

    Good job! :D

  • @GTATerminal Thank you! :)

  • or just simply. look at the download page, it will tell you spawn name in the discription. or the readme file. and open simple trainer or enhanced trainer, go into spawn vehicle by name, and enter the name of the vehicle that you saw in the readme file or the discription page. really that simple!

  • @FoxtrotDelta Yes, but not every car has that included in the description, the P1 for example doesn't have that :)

  • @Carrythxd well. i wonder why did , the mod author not include the name? its so strange. must be present in the Read me file.

  • @FoxtrotDelta Who knows, maybe they forgot, maybe they didnt't want to add it. I just added the .yft & .ytd method because that way you can always find the name even if the author hasn't mentioned it :p
