Will Jester Skins/Liveries Work On The Honda NSX?
-
Im Just wondering since the Jester is meant to be the Honda NSX if I where to add the Honda NSX into my game if the Jester skins/liveries will also work on the Honda NSX if I put them in the .ytd file. Thanks - Josh

@JoshViz Even if cars are the same shape, they have to have the same UV mapping. That is basically what tells the model which part of the texture each part is using.
If they don't have the same mapping, the textures don't appear in the correct locations on the vehicle. Because the Jester is a default game car and the NSX will be an addon, chances of them using the same UV mapping are very, very slim.

@LeeC2202 then is there a way to add more than one livery on the jester?
-
@JoshViz You would probably have to export it, modify it in ZModeler3 to support liveries then import it back into the game.

@LeeC2202 could i just edit the ytd file with openiv and the save it ?
because whenever i try to add more liveries to the jester it does not work and whenever i download a livery the readme file says to replace the old livery but i don't want to replace i want to be able to switch between multiple liveries

Then you have to do what I described in my last comment. Textures must be named a certain way for liveries to work and that has to be done in ZModeler3.
