Jester Liveries

  • Can someone Please either make a mod that does this or tell me how because I have been looking for about 10+ days and I can not find out how to do it.

I have been seeing all these jester liveries on the this site my only question is, how can I add them to the jester without replacing the old livery so I can switch between them in game instead of having to reload my game and change the files when ever i want a different livery

    Thanks - Josh

(If someone helps me I will help them if they need help with something)

(Sorry for any spelling mistakes its midnight so i'm very tired )

  • @JoshViz Unless the model is set up to support multiple liveries, you will need to change the model in ZModeler3 to allow it to do so.

As far as i am aware, the livery texture must be named a certain way for it to work, something like jester_sign_1 for instance, along with a flag being set in the vehicles.meta file. So the model has to be edited to use that texture name on the model.

    More info in here https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/807/tutorial-accepted-multiple-liveries-methode-for-any-car

  • @LeeC2202 I added the "FLAG_HAS_LIVERY" to the vehicles.meta and I renamed all the Liveries to "jester_sign_x" (x for the livery number) and not jester2 because its the non race jester but I don't know what Zmoddeler is so is there a tutorial on how to make a model accept multiple liveries?

  • @JoshViz Did you click the link in my last post?

  • @LeeC2202 yes i didnt see a tutorial

  • @JoshViz That whole thread is a tutorial for adding multiple liveries to a vehicle in ZM3. Whatever that thread tells you to do, is what you need to do to add liveries to the jester.

  • @LeeC2202 i did all that but it didnt work

  • @JoshViz If you have mastered ZM3 to the extent that you can import a model, edit the UV mapping and materials and then export it again, all in 7 hours, I am genuinely impressed. I spent days and failed.

Perhaps you need to show a screenshot of your ZM3 material slots so people can understand what you have done, so they might be able to see why it didn't work.
