how to stop mods on replace vehicles

hi guys trying to find out to delete mods on standard car that i have replaced as the mods dont line up with replace version? what do you guys do????

Not sure exactly what you mean; but if you're looking to undo replaced cars, just copy the directories from you vanilla install over the folders that have the replacement cars in them. You did make the changes in the mods folder, right?! If not, verify your game files first, and do the above, after all.
If there were more things changed in those mods folders than just the replaced cars, then extract the cars from the vanilla folders only, and do the same.

@meimeiriver When you add replace cars, any tuning parts that they have will get displayed on the car you have replaced it with. That means that the parts will be in completely the wrong place when they show up, as the cars are a different shape.
I have seen this type of request before but I can't remember seeing how to fix it. I suspect that you might need to edit the carvariations for the replace vehicle and remove everything apart from the default modkit. That way, only default stat mods can be applied to the car.

@LeeC2202 Ah, I see what the OP meant now. Yes, vanilla cars spawn the way peds do: with random mods/colors applied, for variety (and sometimes even without roof, even when a roof is not an officially listed tunable item for that car).

Yeah, just tested it with a Coil Voltic. Indeed, the roofs are the extra parts.

@LeeC2202 yeah just annoying when driving around, ill see a car i have replaced driving around with parts completely in wrong place lol sometimes causes crashing aswell if you try tuning mods
