Addon-Peds doesn't work

I've now followed 7 separate tutorials on YouTube, as well as the instructions given on the "Addon-Peds" mod page. All tutorials were different, and none of them work. The game crashes every time you click on "Story Mode".
Is there an ETA for a fix? I posted on the mod page and someone else had posted similar issues to mine about 8 hours ago.
Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to try out the John Wick mod but I can't get Addon-Peds working to begin with.
