@LeeC2202 Not a "true Britain" - not liking McCartney as a songwriter from your own Country, means there is something wrong with you. McCartney and Lennon, gave us the classics that will go unforgotten for all time!

@eshenk The problem is, that as a "non-true" Brit, I probably heard that song more times in a year, than people outside this country heard in their lifetimes... if they lived to 200.
It wasn't a good song, he doesn't have a good voice and for a 13 year old (at the time it was released), it was just annoying. It wasn't quite The Proclaimers "I’m Gonna Be" annoying but it was close.
Loved The Beatles, couldn't stand McCartney and his gang.
Something wrong with me... understatement.

@eshenk Ah, now Lennon was several levels/leagues up from McCartney in my book.... extraordinary in so many ways. A genuine tragedy when he was taken from us.
