Does anyone have a copy of gtav exe. before latest update
-
Can someone p.m.me a copy of gtav exe. before latest update, I have rockstar purchase from their website of game
-
@Biggdogg sadly it's against this websites rules to provide unmodified files. Especially the exe files. As they can be considered piracy facilitation. But there are ton of ways to get the exe. Especially if u can get your hands on the old update usually 500 mbish. Google it.
That's about the help we can offer here.

@FoxtrotDelta I'm sure we are allowed to share them via PM, like OP said. I'm not sure though. @administrators ?
-
@V4D3R i doubt that.

After seeing what Rockstar does to the modding community you still try to defend them by hindering piracy lel
-
@LtRob They spent time and money and resources into this to create an awesome game, FOR US. It makes sense Rockstar doesn't want us to change their game, would you like it if I, for example, changed something of yours in a way I see fit, even though I wasn't allowed to (modding is against Rockstar's EULA).
So quit whining.

@LtRob it's about websites reputation. And this website follows rules laid down by rockstar. We try to keep it clean from acusations. That's my purpose as a moderator.

Yes we are.
What goes on privately gives the site plausible deniability... it's a layer of protection. What goes on publicly is the site's responsibility, hence the rule.

"hindering piracy"
That's a bit like saying "If you see what the government does to people and their money, you defend them by locking your doors and hindering burglary"
Piracy is a criminal act, why would the site want to be seen to facilitate that and not hinder it?

Thanks for the reply, since script hook is updated I'll make a copy of this exe for next time

@Biggdogg yes a backup would be cool. Better way is to never let the game update on it's own, if in use steam this can be done by: going into settings tab of steam and then downloads and set it to only download between 7am to 8 am , this is the time my pc is usually turned off so, it never updates the game on it's own. I hope it's helpful tip for u.

I have rockstar website purchase, any ideas how to stop the automatic updates?
-
@Biggdogg SHV is updated now, have fun with mods!
-
@Biggdogg I never used retail rockstar version, I have always used steam version. So no idea. Sorry. Google it may be o.O
-
@Biggdogg What I did for the last week before the SHV update was whenever I would want to play the game, I just unplugged my ethernet cable and launch the game offline. If you're using wifi you can still cancel the download of the update, then just turn off your wifi and launch the game again, it will launch offline.
I do not have a Rockstar warehouse version but a standart non-Steam retail version, so I suppose we both launch the game through the same launcher which checks for updates everytime you launch GTAV, whereas I believe Steam checks for updates everytime you launch Steam (not sure about this one).
