YFT Files - Extra parts

Hello.
I downloaded some vehicles mods but I would like to remove the "extra_x" (extra_1, extra_2, etc...) parts permanently without using a trainer to remove these manually every time I load the game.
Or maybe is it possible to edit the model to remove the extra part directly in the YFT models ? Or in editing the meta file ?
