Is there a reason why, every time I load a save, I spawn in-game with a weapon drawn? It's so friggin' annoying. Is there a way to stop this from occurring?

@eshenk Save the game without a weapon equipped.
would be a pretty easy script mod tho, if it really is an issue.

Hmmmmm.... I don't save games with a weapon drawn, so it must happen when I crash. I will need to test your theory though, because it always seems like I have a weapon drawn no matter what.

@AHK1221 I thought you could only save the game inside a safehouse and in a safehouse, you can't have a weapon equipped. Is there a mod that changes that?

@eshenk It's how I have always played GTA, I always return to safehouses to save... probably why it takes me so long to complete the story.

@LeeC2202 Well next time, remember to pull up your phone, you will see the quick save function, and never have to travel to a safehouse again, just to save a game, LOL.

@LeeC2202 @eshenk I don't even play the story anymore lol. Played it once on PS3, and thats it. I only bought it on PC for da mods.

@eshenk I think I last saved a game about 8 - 9 months ago. Since I started modding the game, I turned autosave off and never save.
I think now that I have stopped modding it, I might finish the endings I didn't do, so I can start saving again.

@AHK1221 That's funny because I WANT to play story mode, but I just get infinite loading screens, LOL.

@eshenk Hmmm... I have heard of crashes with Story mode where people have saved with dlc active that wasn't there when they resumed, so loading the save game failed.
I haven't noticed the infinite loading screen one before though, although it could very well be mod related in a similar fashion.

@LeeC2202 Yo get around the issue, I grabbed a "first" save file, and then loaded up that way. BUT....when I got to the scene where me and Lamar were supposed to chase after that gangster on the motorcycle, Lamar refused to get in our vehicle. So that ended any idea of ever playing story mode again, LOL.
