Is XTX (forza texture converter) a safe program

Yesterday I downloaded XTX, everything was fine. But after I went to bed I saw a couple of canceled downloads of some Russian html files. Is XTX safe to use? If it is not safe how do you guys convert forza textures?

Its safe. Been using it since forever.
If you have doubts about it, you can use Forza Studio, import the texture, click on Textures tab and export.

thanks! I was pretty sure it wasn't XTX but just wanted to check. have you used the new forza horizon 3 texture importers?

@maybach123 Yep. The SB2DDS, right? Just to let you know, it exports it in a DX10 DDS format which means normal DDS programs can't pick up on it. You need the Intel Texture Works plugin for photoshop to load it in.
