[SCRIPT] Freeze Time mod
-
A mod where everything freezes except the player who can move around and then unfreeze everything again. It would be cool to freeze time when you're being shot at and get out of the way and then behind the shooter to kill them on unfreeze.
-
was it requested already..?

@Jitnaught thanks
-
@stillhere I put it in my scripts and it did nothing, then I put it in the main directory.. wish it worked as a simple script but it doesn't, at least not for me..
-
@Dest787 Did you also download the mod menu? It's required for all the author's mods. http://gtaxscripting.blogspot.ca/2016/08/gta-v-nibmods-menu-download.html
-
@stillhere Will it interfere with my native trainer..also I don't use OpenIV, I don't understand that stuff and that's why I mentioned I preferred it were a simple script file to just put in 'scripts' folder.
-
@Dest787 Shouldn't interfere, it works just fine on my end. No need to use OpenIV either. Just place the NIBMods.net.dll, QuantumBreak.net.dll, and QuantumBreak.nibmod in the scripts folder.
Though, it looks like you need to be a Patron to download the author's mods now
-
@stillhere oh okay that's good.. well maybe if it's available somewhere else or something..thanks again for your help.
-
@stillhere I got the menu to come up when I press cntrl-shift-N , but when I press T or Dpad right to toggle it nothing happens..not sure what I'm doing wrong..
-
@Dest787 do you have a backup of the Quantum break files? If so, it should appear in the menu. You have to select it with the Enter or NumPad5 key, then enable the mod, if I recall correctly.
-
@stillhere I have NIBMods.net.dll, QuantumBreak.oiv (not sure what oiv is and why it didnt download as a dll, and I can't find any QuantumBreak.nibmod.. I followed all the download links correctly
-
@Dest787 .oiv files are OpenIV "installer" files. Install OpenIV then open the oiv file with it to install the mod.
-
@Dest787 You should be able to open the .oiv with Winrar or 7zip too and extract the files yourself.
-
@Jitnaught oh okay, I'll take a look at OpenIV,.thnx Jitnaught
-
@stillhere I used 7zip,..don't know how to 'extract' it, ..the file just stayed as an oiv.
-
@Dest787 in Winrar you just right-click and click "Open With..." and select Winrar. I imagine you can do the same with 7zip and it will show all the contents.
-
@stillhere ok, it opened the two you mentioned as dlls (but can't see any QuantumBreak.nibmod ) . there's also a Bass.Net.dll , bass.dll, NAudio.dll and assembly.xml, do I put any of these in scripts too..?
-
@Dest787
Bass.Net.dll -> goes in the scripts folder
bass.dll -> goes in your GTA V installation directory (same folder where your scripts folder is located)
NAudio.dll -> goes in the scripts folderAbout QuantumBreak.nibmod, maybe it is created by the script when you first launch the game. If not, you can just create a text file and paste "Quantum Break" (without quotes) into it, then save it as QuantumBreak.nibmod (so the extension has to be changed from .txt to .nibmod).
-
@stillhere omg,
it's working !! Thank you so much for the extra help !!
-
@stillhere do you know if technical changes can be made to the mod.. like changing the blue screen effect to red,.. or removing the heart beat sound..?
-
@Dest787 No idea man. You can look through the Quantum Break files folder (if you have one, I still have an old version) to see if there is anything you can change.
-
@stillhere k, I'll do that. thnx
