Tutorial Request - Making a multilivery aircraft [ Please me Help ]
-
Hi everyone,
I wanted to know what I need to do to make a multilivery aircraft? ALike what was done to the ( F-5E II - US Navy / USMC Adversary ) https://pt.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/f-5e-ii-us-navy-usmc-adversary-8-liveries#comment-921669 Because the textures are divided in the original but now are all in one big file.
@SkylineGTRFreak or @FoxtrotDelta might you please help everyone to know the process to make multilivery possible?
Thank you for your assistance and sharing your experience

@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA just combine all textures into one texture and remap the uv using new single texture.
-
@FoxtrotDelta HUM right more as ? Could you make an example?
-
@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA for example you have 4 texure files for the whole aircraft, just make a huge 4k texture in an image editor like Photoshop and place all 4 textures next to each other in that 4k single file l. So that all 4 textures make up a single picture with all parts visible side by side,
So you have created a single image now from 4 images , now uv map edit uv mapping on top of the new new image file.
I hope I explained it right. Words can be confusing sorry I can't help any more than thst, making a gif or video would be time consuming.

@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA yes , 6 or 8 doesn't matter. if you can UV map them onto 1 texture.
-
@FoxtrotDelta ok work
can work ?
-
@FoxtrotDelta No work
-
@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA edit and use UV Map channel 1. first. later you can copy to uv channel 2
-
@FoxtrotDelta sorry I no understand
-
edit and use UV Map channel 1. first.
-
@FoxtrotDelta is there an easy way to transpose the UV map coords from the old texture to the new one, or do you have to remap every single part manually and try to line it up just right?
-
@PNWParksFan Is there an easier way?
-
@PNWParksFan if the texture size is the same you can copy from the original texture. but like in this case. he is combining 6 images. (more than 1) into 1 image. he needs to remap it.
note: remaping on 4 images or 2 images is easier than 6 images. as you can divide the image in equal parts and in uv mapper it's easier to map.
there could be an easy way, but i am only familiar with this way only. @SkylineGTRFreak taught me.

@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA you just tagged him, if he can he will.
you should watch youtube tutorials. it's simple not that hard. just uv mapp the whole aircraft on top of a new combined texture.
-
@FoxtrotDelta
is much hard no work
Can simple more is complic
Really IS HARD
-
@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA yes combining 6 images into 1 image and remapping it all again is hard. i agree. but i have done it with 6 images combined into one, on my G-91 Mod.
-
@FoxtrotDelta no is 3 images model is Super Puma as-332
-
@CANAL-EMBRAER-GTA doesn't matter you still have to combine them into 1. texture and re map the whole uv.
-
@FoxtrotDelta OK I'll try again in another way.
