ok having the lading page on seems to fix the character switching issue
but it still crashes when I try to load a different save

it now crashes when I change characters too

from the start screen
pc
disc version
some clothe and weapon mods installed
same pc set up I've always used

solved it was the controller

didnt backup and messed some things up

using a controller btw
