okay it turns out he had the water shader on for some reason instead of ped??? I added the game mesh modifier and then i set it to the high mesh but he's still blocky for some reason

Almost done with my mod, VERY close to release, but I'm still trying to figure this last thing out. I know the solution is probably really simple I just have no idea what menu to look in.

I think i have to apply some kind of modifier to the mesh but i have no idea what/where that is

Made mod in Blender, exported and then imported into 3DS Max, need helpposted in General Modding Discussion
There's no perfect file to use to seamlessly export one project from blender and then import into 3DS Max and an exporter for Blender still doesn't exist. when I imported my (very important, very groundbreaking) mod into 3DS max so i could finally export it for the game, it came in fine but the armature seems to be totally disconnected from the object/mesh/whatever—
. What do i do???That armature is also the same as the stock one below, head_005_r, if it matters.

This doesn't belong in installation help. but you're not alone, i've been working on a mod for some time now that i can't complete without an exporter for blender. there are two projects, one being the GTA V odd/odr importer, which hasnt been touched at all since being created as far as i know, and the other being DragonFF which said they'd come out with HD verse support eventually, but i've heard nothing about it since.

No way to get access to 3DS Max 2017.posted in General Modding Discussion
Last version to work with both GIMS EVO & GIMS IV is now unsupported by autodesk. No way to get a trial for it, no way to get it even if I had a student license, student license only gives access to 2018 and later. The only people who can possibly get access is anybody with an older license.
Does anybody know what else i could possibly do? Or use? Without access to any of the crucial plugins?
DragonFF has support planned for GTA IV & V but nothing has materialized yet, and the odd/odr importer for blender seems to have been abandoned before the planned exporting feature.

Went to support with auto desk and they said they don't even have access to 3DS Max 2017 anymore. Not for students, or anybody, unless they have an old license
