@Venkey It was just a saying. I was basically saying I agree, or that learning CodeWalker gets my vote, or my stamp of approval, or I second that notion. Like for example, towards the end of the day at work, someone usually asks if it's time to go, and I'll say, "That gets my vote." It comes down to differences in the way people speak and the terms they use.

RE: The game is stuck in infinite loading loop.posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@Murd3rWorship Addon Peds? Someone else is also having an issue trying to use that mod. Yall both should quit trying to use it. Don't necessarily need a game config, I have 10 addons and am using the vanilla config.
You also state that you can not run the game Vanilla is that correct? If so, you have other issues. If you got gta5 through Steam, verify your files. If your gta is from disk or social slub, I don't know.

RE: GTA 5 exited unexpectedlyposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@Burnt-Chicken-Nugget Ok, I just told you what was wrong with your dlclist. I don't deal with ped mods so I don't know. If the mod doesn't work anymore, then it doesn't work, quit trying to use it. Check out the mod's comment section. Notice you're not the only one having issues, especially since the latest update.
At second thought, what version of NativeUI are you using? Considering it is a 2 year old mod, it most likely needs an older version of NativeUI and you are using a newer version that it doesn't support.
Might also need a gameconfig.

@NikoBellic2425 It would be quicker and easier if you would just post the requested info instead of fighting it. You might be missing something obvious that you're not seeing that others will.

@NikoBellic2425 Why delete the exact same post where two people already answered you? You should have just continued that thread instead of deleting it and not made a new one.

@GuywiththeJordan1s From what I understand, ScriptHookV only needs to be updated when gta5 gets an update. You must have other issues.

RE: Spawn of modified vehicleposted in General Modding Discussion
@James-Booker Why not just give people the option to make that choice on their own. I personally don't like tint, never put it on my vehicles in the game. Why force someone to have tint if they want to use your "skin", which by the way, do you mean a livery?

RE: How do i figure out which mod is crashing my game?posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@Paperclip Simple, you start over. Add a single mod and test it out. If all is ok, add another mod and test. Lather, rinse, repeat. When you add one and things don't work, remove it and retest. Then move on to the next mod.

RE: No x64 and Update in mods folderposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@Twepz4 Open up OpenIV, go to the vanilla update.rpf and OpenIV will show a red banner up top stating you are not in the mods folder.
There will be a button to "copy to mods folder", click that and you're set. Do the same for x64. -

RE: Cant get mod menu to workposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@tim84 Why not just use a mods folder? Seems a lot easier than going through all of that. Just wondering if there is a specific reason someone would want two copies and to have to go through all that. If using a mods folder, when you want to go online, all you have to do is rename dinput8.dll to 1dinput8.dll and you're vanilla.

New Idea: Help me customize my mod for you.posted in Releases & Works in Progress
Had an idea while learning a different way of adding entities to my mod, in what should be a more efficient way for the game to handle. There are many ways you could set up such a large empty space, and the way I have it now works great for a butt load of cars and to kind of use for car storage and selling using Hunk's mod as I have been lately. But since mlo interiors aren't the easiest thing to get, although it isn't that difficult either, I figured this would be a good opportunity for me to practice and for people to get a customized mod for how they want to use it. My vision of how it should be laid out and the flow of gameplay is going to be way different than the next person.
So what I ask of people that have already installed my mod or might be interested in my mod, if you want more stuff inside, let me know what the name of it is in the game. You can use CodeWalker to fly around and click on stuff from certain areas. For example, if you want something from like the PDM dealership, you can fly the camera to the location, click on an entity like the car lift or whatever and get the name, and if you want to be nice the info on where it is located. Make sure you only pick ydr items right now, since that's all I know how to work with at the moment in 3ds. There's plenty of them all over the place. You could also just look around the files in OpenIV and chose ydrs that way. A lot of props in x64i.rpf as a starter spot for most of yall.
Once you know the things you want placed, make a sketch or whatever showing me how you want things laid out. A quick crappy drawing of a rectangle with landmarks like the front door and garage doors and the windows and basic shapes to represent the items you want will help me with placement. Also counting the number of the rows and/or columns in the brick if you want something on the wall a certain height or distance from a particular window.
Here are two pics of what I just did for testing purposes. One daytime and one as the interior lights came on. Oh, and note ** NO I WILL NOT CHANGE THE LIGHTS! ** That light mapping crap was not fun. Mainly because for some odd reason Gims and 3ds weren't playing nice for a few days during my first few attempts.

RE: addon carsposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@pantherkid1313 FYI, the more info you provide, the easier this is. Figured the link I provided in the first response would have taught you that. So which specific car? (provide a link) Which trainer? Check that the line you added to the dlclist.xml is correct. No typos, no missing / or < or >. Sometimes you don't need to type in the name of the vehicle, some trainers have a Addon section in the vehicle spawner menu or something similar and it should just show up in a list. I use simple trainer by sjaak327 and have not had to type in the name of an addon vehicle yet.

RE: GTA V keeps crashing when loading story mode...posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@Snoppils https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/13256/how-to-ask-for-help-and-support
And FYI, taking out dinput8.dll or renaming it makes the game load up vanilla without mods, so that's why the game starts up fine when you remove it. That is one quick way to go online when you want to.

RE: Instantly spawn xml maps?posted in General Modding Discussion
@Boosted_Greek Don't know why it wouldn't work unless you didn't name the folder properly. Double check there isn't a typo, and I do believe it is case sensitive so make sure you named the folder just how you typed it out in the last post but obviously without the quotations. Other than that, this issue would be above my pay grade.

RE: Uploaded Screenshots Bugposted in Site-Related Questions & Feedback
@BIGHEAD I had the same issue when updating my mod and trying to delete some old pics and add new ones. What I ended up doing to solve the wrong pics showing up was to just delete all my pics and reupload the old ones I wanted to keep and new ones at the same time. Hopefully they get it resolved but that is one way around the issue.
