In GTA, the player's flashlight will work anywhere. But peds' flashlights attached to their guns don't work when they're in an indoor area - the O'Neill Ranch, for example. It'll work outdoors, but as soon as they step inside it turns off, even if everything is dark.

Does anyone know a way to fix this?

There are loads of mods that allow the player to do new moves like shoot dodging, leaping, swan diving, etc. Is there any mod that allows peds to do something similar in combat? It'd be cool if they were a bit more varied in how they moved. Thanks!

I have almost no modding experience, but want to set up a scenario involving a superpowersoldier ped with special abilities.

I noticed JulioNIB has a mod that allows the player to play with a nanosuit from Crysis (linked

) - something like that would be perfect, exactly what I'm looking for, but rather than the player being the superpowered one, I'd like to spawn in a ped which can jump higher than others, punch harder, run faster, rechargeable shields, etc. It doesn't have to have all these features but as many as possible would be ideal. And most importantly, the ped must be commandable - I have a bodyguard mod and I'd love to be able to give it orders and tell it "go over there, attack this person, follow me, etc."

Does anyone have an idea how something like this might be possible?

So in GTA V, helicopters and planes can obviously catch fire and begin to crash, which is cool. But if they take further damage, they generally explode in mid-air. But that's not very cinematic imo - I'm looking for a way to make it so that they never explode in the air, and instead when they take damage will simply burn and begin to fall out of the sky, with its AI passengers bailing out. I think it would look much cooler, both for gameplay and machinima purposes. Do you know if a mod like this exists, or how one would go about making one?

Hey guys, I'm new to modding, and I'm not trying to create a new ped from scratch or anything - I'd just like to add new head variations to an existing ped, if you know what I mean. So, in the same way that the generic US marine peds have 2-3 head options, with a few textures each, I'd like to take other heads from other peds in the game and make it so that the soldiers have, like, 10 head variations, or 20. As many as I can get really. Any idea how I could easily go about this as a beginner?

Hey folks! I've been using DSCADX's excellent "Personal Army" mod (linked here) to spawn in my own custom troops for various scenarios, but have run into a bit of an issue. They don't seem to detect objects added in map editor or Menyoo.

I haven't added any non-native props, all of the ones I'm working with came with the game, so that's not the issue. But I'll create a wall, let's say, and then order the troops to go to the other side of it, and rather than going around the obstacle, they'll just run straight into it and be unable to progress further. They won't take cover at it or interact with it - it's like they can't see it. This problem doesn't happen for cars.

Any ideas for how I might fix it?
