I tried to step into a n00b's shoes now and to my own surprise I am with @Moondog13 in this case. I downloaded the superman mod in the hope to find an installation instruction. There is a readme in the download but instead of an instruction it provided a URL. I opened that page and found no instructions either, just a list of things which need to be installed as well (scripthook etc.). So if I wouldn't know from my experience I would be helpless either. Apparently Julio Nib doesn't care much for proper instructions.

@Cyron43 ... i didnt have backup...
So all your settings are back to default. There you have it. Figure out what's different from your previous settings.

RE: helpposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
- Downloading a mod and installing a mod are two different things.
- What kind of mods are you talking about? There are vehicle mods, weapon mods, script mods in .asi format for ScripthookV, script mods in .dll format for ScriptVDotNet, script mods in .dll format for the RAGEpluginHook and more. They all need to be installed in a different way.
- It's always a good idea to have a closer look at the zip files (or rar) you have downloaded. Usually they contain a README which explains how to install that mod.
- Please use a more descriptive thread title in the future. Just "help" looks kind of lazy and is no great motivation to even open such a thread.

@BladeRJ I have just downloaded menyoo and I can't find a MP map option either. Are you sure menyoo and the enhanced native trainer even switches to MP map enhanced native trainer?
However, you mentioned you reinstalled. I guess you haven't made any backup of your ini-files before? Apparently the default settings are different from your old settings. As eshenk and I mentioned before, entering MP properties with MP map enabled is not the problem but the SP items have to be respawned by code. If any of those mods enable MP map but does NOT have this respawn functionality, you're screwed. -
RE: Disappearancesposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@mrphillips I had this happen once. The reason was an early version of ImNotMental's Single player apartment mod. it needs to switch to multiplayer map but all the single player items have to be respawned by the code because online dismisses them all in the first place. So, do you have any mod installed which uses the multiplayer map? If so then deactivate it and look if this solves your issue.
Also, having multiple MP map mods activating the MP map is a bad idea but you can change that. For instance, I use Simple trainer, the Single player apartment mod and OpenAllInteriors. All of the 3 have the option to turn off the switch to MP map. Allow only ONE mod to do the switch. If that doesn't help, you found a fowl egg which doesn't respawn the SP items. In this case let another mod do the switch. -
Future concept car pleaseposted in Requests
Hi guys, call me nuts, I don't care, but in my mind I'm way ahead in the future. So, I miss those concept cars we see everywhere on the internet. Is anyone talented willing to make this car without wheels? Yes that's right, in my imagination the cars of the future don't need wheels anymore.

@Cyron43 ...but in theory, you have already dealt with the Modifier + Keys combo in the KeyDown.
But I use the KeyUp event. So again, I see no benefit in using the Modifier property. I have never used it in all my years as a developer and all the key handlings I have programmed run like a charm.

RE: Can I ask people to look at their comments, and not feel shame?posted in General Modding Discussion
@LeeC2202 They come and ask questions in proper English, more or less, you know, the usual quirks of modern times where young people don't care about capital letters and punctuation anymore. So I think I can safely assume these people are able to read my guide (which is in English only even though I'm German).
I agree with your other points. -

@eshenk I guess it's the same origin when people ask me questions about my mods, which have been answered in the guide in all detail. Just the VAutodrive guide has 30 pages and you can easily imagine it took me several weeks to write it. It drives me up the wall when I face people who are just too lazy to read. This thing has even a table of contents, so it's easy and quick to find an answer.
