Can anyone help me out? I just installed All the requirements for the mods carefully and then tried to install a few (charchter) mods, but only the costume/external look has changed, not the charchter. The mod character's abilities (passive and active), are just not working.

I have a simple question, that is, how do I install Mods? I specifically want to download Character mods like 'Thanos Mod', superhero mods.
Can I get a decent step by step guide/instruction? I've seen a ton of videos and they're all doing different Shit. They're all installing different files and putting them in different locations and all. I'm really confused as Hell.
