No, I don't mean like how to change a specific voice. I want to know if there's a way to edit what voices a ped uses. For example, the LSPD cop has appropriate voices for black and white officers, but for latino officers, they use generic npc voices. I want to know if there's a way to change it, as I feel like the latino security guard voice will work great!

@a63nt-5m1th It worked! What I did was dragged "peds.ymt" to my desktop then exported it again via OpenIV. Copied and pasted all data from the exported file to the one I dropped to desktop. And dragged to OpenIV. Loaded the game and no crash! Thanks for helping me out on this!

Unused ped response
I was looking through some npc voicelines, and found something called "NICE_CAR_THANKS". I tried to see if any peds say this in-game. But heard nothing. I do hear peds saying their "NICE_CAR_SHOUT" lines. I tried looking for a way to re-enable this unused response via OpenIV, but no luck. Any ideas?

Doubt you'll read this, but I found these sounds when I was making a GTA 4 pain sounds mod. Anyways, it's located in "mods/x64/audio/sfx/PAIN.rpf".
Just check the ones that say "pain_male_mixed" the others might have it aswell but I haven't checked.
Even the main characters have headshot sounds lmao -

Usually OpenIV gives me a warning saying I made an error, it didn't when I saved the ymt. I'll check once more.
And I did try to replace just the one movement set instead, but no dice. -

Why does game crash after editing "peds.ymt"?
I was trying to change a ped's walkstyle, but game crashes during startup. I then used a backup of said file and the game starts normally. Any ideas how to prevent this?

Peds having voice of wrong gender
I wondering if anyone can fix this annoying issue where certain peds have voices of the wrong gender. So far, peds I've found with this problem are Latino LSPD cops, Black and Latino noose agents, one of the East Vinewood peds, a_f_y_eastsa_02 to be specific, and one of the Armenian Mob members. Someone did a mod where it fixed the female Vagos member, so I'm not mentioning that ped. I tried fixing it myself, but ended with no result!
