So I've been looking for a way to disable or at least lessen the blood splat effect when you shoot a ped. Not to be confused with the texture that gets on the ped but 'm referencing that actual ''puff of blood smoke'' when you shoot someone. For gameplay purposes I get why they put it in but I like to make my game as realistic as I can, and these splats look like hit markers.
So I think the way to change it is in the decals.dat file in the main update.rpf folder, I just can't make sense out of the values and what to change.
