need help with addon vehicles / skins
do i copy and paste the carvariations wording to the bottom of the original one in the game mod folder carvariations.meta or do i have to create a new one? because when i search for it the word "trailer" doenst come up.

@QBit07 yer that’s what I thought, yer my mods show up and everything, but either I’ve loaded to much or just ones that crash I don’t know, but if I do like 2 mods for vehicles sometimes it crash’s with the exited unexpectedly not sure if it’s a graphics thing ? Or mybe I change the gameconfig file ? What’s your steps and version of the game?

I only use open iv and vehicle mods I don’t have or use scripthook or any of that stuff I simply just replace skins etc... do I need scripthook or anything to help it ?

Steam has updated my gta 5 to 1868 and I use open iv to mod, no scripthook or anything! Simply just replace cars and peds, but it crashes here and there comes up.
“ gta5 exited unexpectedly etc....

Any ideas people? I’ve tried to downgrade etc... and I have an old copy of gta 5 from April 2019 as a steam back up but every time I try and restore it, it wants to download the new update straight away.

Hi all I’am new to modding and have tried replacing vehicles in the gta 5 folder without the mod folder at first, everything was going well until I started adding more and more vehicles and doing my own textures....

The game eventually crashed after 10min of playing so I ended up reinstalling gta 5.

So my question is what are the very first steps to modding gta 5, I don’t want a trainer or any cheat options I simply want to replace as many vehicles and pedestrian outfits in the game in single player without it crashing?

Do I still have to create a mod folder and copy contents in it?

Do I still need scripthook?

Hello all new to the mod world

How do I change all the police uniforms in the world map on single player. So when I boot the game up and have 1 or 3 stars the Cops come and there wearing the (new uniforms) that are modded?
