@JRod THANK YOU for this, man. I'm absolutely going to try testing this out when I get home. You may have just solved my problem for me.

RE: Random CLR.dll Application error crash [Solution | How to avoid ]

RE: "ScriptHookVDotNet2" crashing semi-randomly.
Well, I've found the error has something to do with Benny's, but it's not mod-specific. OpenInteriors and the actual Benny's mod make the game crash whenever I'm in that area. Near it or inside it.

RE: Random Crashes, all "clr.dll"
Ultimately, none of that answers my question. But that's fine, I'm pretty sure the problem was FlawlessWidescreen, a 3rd party program that I'm using since the FOV mod is broken.

Random Crashes, all "clr.dll"
Hey everybody, I've tried to do some searching before cluttering up the forums with another "pls help" topic, but it seems like, due to the nature of modding, a "clr.dll" crash is a symptom of a problem, rather than the cause of one.
My mods (stripped to what I think is bare minimum for me to enjoy GTA V)
IVPack
VisualV
RageEuphoria
WorldOfVariety
DispatchOfVariety
Lively World
Open Interiors
Tow Service
LS Traffic
Gang and Turf Mod...And that's cut down over HALF of what I usually try to run.
System specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Fx-8350 OCed to 4.6GHz
RX 480
16GB RAM (DDR3)
1TB HDUltimately, what I'd like to know is: what clr.dll is doing, so I can decide for myself what's going on--if it's a bad/outdated mod, or what--I know it's not "too many" mods, I'm not running out of any definable system resource...

RE: No mods - high FPS. Lots of mods - slow FPS. What to do? (Centers around SPA/Open Interiors)
@Willief23 Good to know. I wonder why that is, since OpenAllInteriors doesn't do the same thing.

RE: No mods - high FPS. Lots of mods - slow FPS. What to do? (Centers around SPA/Open Interiors)
@TheLoneWolf293 Thanks! But I don't think graphics mods are an issue. Like I said, VisualV and the ENB/optional mods and all by themselves do not affect my frame-rate. Collectively, sure, they do, when I've installed all my mods, but alone, nope. What hits it the most are SPA/Open All Interiors. What can I do about that, specifically? I get 20fps drop just from SPA alone.

No mods - high FPS. Lots of mods - slow FPS. What to do? (Centers around SPA/Open Interiors)
All right, so the tl;dr is in the title, and I'm tech-savvy enough to understand that cranking a load of mods into a game that's not "officially" built around them is going to slow things down. And further, I understand not running high-end hardware is going to be a bottleneck. That being said, I have an FX-6350 in my rig right now, I'm planning on upgrading to an 8350, and I get a solid 60FPS with graphics settings fairly close to max (no tessellation, upscaling, or AA--don't feel I need those to enjoy the experience).
Modlist at the bottom of the post.
I know it's a lot, but even most of those mods work fine; I notice most of my performance degradation from using Single Player Apartments and Open Interiors. Does anybody have any idea as to why? Those two mods are pretty essential to my personal enjoyment of the game--interiors and all, so I'd really hate to have to do without them.

RE: Stop Steam auto-updating and breaking my mods:
Thanks. I know things are updated NOW, I'm taking about in the future when R* releases another update. Launcher bypass is my only option? Ok.

Stop Steam auto-updating and breaking my mods:
Pretty much what the title says. I tried asking Reddit but apparently they're against mods now, because both my topics were deleted. Anyway, is there a way to do this? I have no intention of shady stuff, bought the game legit, blah blah blah. There's a launcher bypass mod...should I use that in a separate directory isolated from Steam? I know how to create modded and vanilla directories, so that's no problem. I just don't want to have to wait a week until, say, ScriptHook or Open IV update...or if T2 goes back on their decision, then I have a fully offline recourse.
Thanks.
