@a63nt-5m1th Awwwwwwww! Sweeeeeeeeet bro! I gotta try this soon! I'll be building a new 10700K PC soon since the one I was using has decided to finally start giving me problems way too often. (Suspect the Motherboard since I saw a part on the back seems to have it's... Enamel or whatever it's called scratched pretty badly) ANYWAY! Can't wait to try this! Big thanks! Still keeping tabs on this little mod. IMO it's needed.

Always Aim Gun In First Person Mod !!?
The way your character always tucks his large-ass-gun-from-an-aquarium (like the MG) close to his chest is so unrealistic and weird to me and it's always stuck out. Hopefully someone can see this post and be inspired to make a mod that makes it so your character always AIMS HIS GUN like virtually every First Person Shooter out there. Even better would be if only certain guns would always aim (like the MG, Tommy Gun, Shotgun, etc.) while others wouldn't such as small pistols.

RE: Faster Police
I did it and I think I saw it in action cause the coppers were going FAAAAAAAAAST after me BUT... Here's the downside I PERSONALLY encountered, I do have GTA V REALISTIC DRIVING (a mod) installed so Idk if that messes with this edit or not, anyway, I do notice the cops drive faster and get into wrecks more often (but in a realistic fashion IMO cause vanilla cops rarely ever crash and that's unrealistic) anyway, THEY ONLY DRIVE FAST IN THE COUNTRYSIDE AND MAINLY ONLY ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE COUNTRYSIDE WHERE THE ROADS ARE LONGER AND STRAIGHT, once the road starts getting a little curvy, they stop driving fast and they cruise around edges carefully. ALSO, the other thing is, even when they are going fast, it takes them a bit to raise their speed from the moment they spawn in so I STILL HAVE TO SLOW DOWN FOR THEM to catch up and raise their speed. I will try this again ONE DAY on a fresh install of GTA V but for now I'll just stick with the regular settings I had.

Quick IMMERSIVE (rubble on pavement from explosions) idea for a script!
Okay, so we all know the GTA V does not have any real destructive effects right? What if somebody put a script together where every time you shoot an RPG (or maybe any explosion occurs) on the road a piece of rubble will pop out?
Obviously we would have to have this happen only on roads because then it would get a little bit too complex. I still think this is a fresh idea maybe that has the potential to make the gameplay experience more immersive. Hopefully, someone sees this and they know what I'm talking about and they know about scripting to make it happen. The only thing I'm not really sure about is whether the rubble will have Collision or not but either way I think it's a pretty good idea. I think the popping-out of the road would have to be somewhat small in order to fit under the explosion that occurs (that way you don't see it outright pop into existence and the smoke from the explosion will disguise what just happened underneath lol)

NFS-like Dynamic destructible places...
Remember how you could ram into places with like construction set up around the city in NFS games (I played NFS MW and Carbon) and those places would collapse with physics to every object and you would see cops ram into them getting destroyed?! (I think) Well, I was wondering if this was possible to do in GTA V somehow?! OR AT THE VERY LEAST, *maybe a mod that makes the logs fall off the back of a big rig trailer
That's simpler than having to make weird construction sites around LS IMO that are dynamic as well. I would love to be able to shoot at one of those log holding trailers that the big rigs sometimes haul around and after a certain amount of bullets (like how gas pumps work in-game) the logs just fall apart and start rolling onto the road, maybe you could even shoot the strips in order for it to do this or even just ram the trailer really hard. If someone did this kind of script mod (I think it'd be a script right? Or maybe not, I know jack-shit about modding) I think it could make moments during cop chases pretty interesting. Especially with realistic damage/deformation mods and the NO EXPLOSION ON CRASH script mod.

RE: Enhanced Native Trainer Controller Binding Issues
OK so I just went into ENT with F4 as usual but then (and I did this because of a hunch that it might be the AIR BRAKE feature of ENT) I decided to go ahead and go into the Miscellaneous Options tab... On page 3 of 4 I found the "Air Brake" tab, hit that and then... I SIMPLY DISABLED IT, backed out with F4, got in a vehicle, brought ENT back up with F4 (to test theory) and when I started holding R2/L2 or Cross (A on XBOX) (LT/RT on XBOX) I noticed the flicker was GONE!
SO IN CONCLUSION, YOU NEED TO DISABLE AND RE-ENABLE THE AIR BRAKE FUNCTION INSIDE OF ENT!!! At least, this is what fixed it for me! I had been trying for about HALF AN HOUR to fix this problem and this whole time I was just Disabling/Re-Enabling "Turn off all controller Input in Trainer" inside of the Miscellaneous > Trainer Options tab, yet the option I really needed to disable and re-enable was the Air Brake... Smh! Don't know how it got corrupted or somethin' but yeah. That's a first! At least next time (if there is a next time) ENT starts to Flicker, I'll know it's more than likely the ol' "Enable Air Brake" setting again.
EDIT: I think OP's issue was a bit different now that I read it again but I'm still going to leave my answer/problem here in case anyone else has a problem with a FLICKERING ENT MENU WHILE TRYING TO HOLD THE LT/RT L2/R2/ OR X/A buttons on a gamepad.
The Problem: FLICKERING ENT (Enhanced Native Trainer) and AIR BRAKE MENU WHILE HOLDING/PRESSING THE LT/RT L2/R2/ AND/OR X/A buttons on a gamepad.
The solution is: Disable and Re-enable the Air Brake function located in "Miscellaneous Options" > "Air Brake"

RE: Enhanced Native Trainer Controller Binding Issues
@JimBoJames said in Enhanced Native Trainer Controller Binding Issues:
So I'm trying to play with a Controller, Keyboard, and Wheel, and Joystick with respective mods allowing me to use them. However I'm having an issue with ENT where they keyboard binds are correct, but on controller the menu is just set to the "A" button. It's caused me a lot of frustration with general in-game actions such as running when the menu keeps flashing in and out. When checking the config file it doesn't have the "A" button bound to ENT Menu at all so I'm really stumped on why it's happening.
Same issue right now but for me, it's making me mad because I didn't have that issue for the last 20 sessions of GTA V that I've played and haven't installed or modified anything but suddenly when trying to simply drive it's like ENT is receiving input. At first I thought it was just the fuel consumption function being affected til I opened ENT with F4 and while driving, ENT now flashes really fast. When I'm on foot for some reason this doesn't happen! That's what's so confusing to me! I'm going to back up the ENT config, delete the one in my GTA V folder and see if it's the config causing this problem. If it is then when I start fresh it should stop flashing... if it's the mod itself or maybe some other mod suddenly conflicting with it... It's going to be a headache to figure out I'm sure..
