RE: Adding new weapons instead of replacing current ones?
But you can see that tutorial already in my post, I was just asking if someone tried to add firearms in the same manner, because the tutorials says for melee weapons and the firearms tutorial part is kinda missing, so does it work the same way as adding a melee weapons?

Adding new weapons instead of replacing current ones?
Hello I was wondering for a while if this is possible
i saw a couple of weapon mods that does add new ones, so is there any tutorial on how to do that ?
Wouldn't it be better if we just add countless of weapons like Fallout for example, instead of replacing the vanilla ones ?
I saw the tutorial Here But it says for melee weapons, can we add firearms too ?
It would be great if modders try to make their weapon packs behave like dlc's instead of replacers! -
RE: Editing particle effects ?
Thanks for the replay! i know about texture toolkit and i'm glad it exists really...
it's a shame we cannot extract the models seen in .YPT, using openIV we can clearly see those models, maybe they have some flags or something stored in them. -
Editing particle effects ?
Hello this my first post here, so i was doing a new explosion sprite and i was wondering if there's anyway we could edit particle effects in a more advanced manner ? like adding new textures or changing velocity or the colours of the explosion trails etc, and i don't mean the ##fx.dat files there must be something more complex out there to control the emitters, is this possible yet ?
