BTW, does anyone know if anyone else has managed to make something like the "long take" before? - in GTA V I mean. Before I started making it, I found a couple threads in different places asking about how to do it, but I don't know if by the time I posted it anybody else had already done it before. It was a really long time in-between because of the pandemic.

[MISC] [WIP] New "Arthouse" Film For the Cinema (1917 Parody)
This seems less like a work in progress and more like lots of work without progress. The in game film activities are kind of an interesting novelty, but I personally found every one of them boring to watch, and I always wished people who make machinima would then mod them into the theater. So that's what I meant to do. Whether it's any less boring is debatable.
The other day I tried asking if there was a way to prevent the game from compressing these files to potato quality during gameplay. I assume I won't get a satisfactory answer to this, so I guess the idea is effectively dead. But the video I made for it still exists. - Or maybe I'll just embrace the poor video quality and release it eventually anyway, idk.
Anyway, it'll be below, more or less finished, I think I focused too much on little details like getting rid of laptops and keypads, or getting one unbroken "shot" and not enough on making it appropriately cinematic. But I worked hard!
And again - it wasn't really made for YouTube anyway. Either way there's a funnier one I plan to release sometime about Michael obsessing over a new Cluckin' Bell product called "Can-o-bell". I think the video quality matters even less for that one, so if it's ever finished the mod will be forthcoming, but I have to start downloading other mods again, to work on it and that just sounds exhausting rn.
I forgot to mention, I felt the need to age restrict it myself, because of a sight gag in the middle. Sorry about that.

A way to replace films in the cinema with HD
Hi, I wanted to make a parody of 1917, that would replace the "Arthouse" film in game. I've got a 10 minute "unbroken take" sequence, so it's pretty long, and I even managed myself to make the in-game activity of watching a movie last almost as long as a half an hour, but the game automatically compresses the file to an extremely low quality. Normally I would think there's no way around this, but Rockstar put an HD trailer in one of the update files, so I was wondering if there was a way to at least get it to a decent 720? Anybody know if it's possible?
Here's the video if anyone's interested, since the mod will probably never get made now, I'm not very happy with it, except for the long take sequence, but whatever.

RE: [SCRIPT] 'Fall Guy' script
@futurestoryteller This would actually be a lot more useful than I'm letting on.

RE: Looking for a white background, PHOTOSHOOT booth for Car Show
@CrazyDoug17 It's nice of Foxunitone to offer, but I should just point out there are a number of green screen mods that can probably do exactly what you're looking for, if you have minimal video editing experience. If you know how to edit textures you could probably import one of them and manually change the color to white.
Another alternative: you could possibly use a trainer, and the game's native image filters to put yourself, or object into an all white environment. So there are a number of possible solutions to your problem at hand

[SCRIPT] 'Fall Guy' script
Would it be possible to script a mod where every person thinks that someone else - any random pedestrian, I pick off the street is "me" Which is to say, I pick a target, and if I aim a weapon at someone besides that target, they will turn to the target and put their hands up? Idk. Think that would be funny

@Dark0ne You're very welcome. I hope I wasn't a big meanie.

Make the search engine on your website not suck ass
Hi all, I'm really glad the operators of this website are using their valuable time to delete tongue and cheek comments directly related to films that could easily be associated with the mods they're posted on, and not - you know, the ones saying vaguely racist things, or people making casual reference to their enjoyment of watching churches, or the twin towers burn to the ground - but if it's not too much trouble, can you bother, after so many years, to fix the shittiest search engine I have ever seen?
If I type "Zippo," I get all of Zippo Raid's mods. If I type "Raid" I get all of Zippo Raid's mods. If I type "Zippo Raid," I get "no search results" - This is despite the fact that using "raid" will get you search results like "Long Braided Haircut For MP Female" ... okay... is your engine too sensitive or too restricted?
Why wouldn't using the guy's whole name work? It might as well say "I'm sorry, your search was way too specific"
If I type in "The Character Clothes Mod" I get instant results. If I type in "The Character Vehicles Mod" I get nothing. If I type in "The Character Vehicles" I get nothing. If I type "The Character" Then it shows in the results. Just because I naturally added an "s" to the word vehicles, consistent with the other mod your engine functions as though nothing like that search ever existed on this site. One letter, no results.
Maybe there is an indexing problem once in awhile, but the search function simply sucks either way.
I've had instances where no combination of letters or words worked, leading me to believe the mod had been deleted, only for me to discover the link via Google search.
I mean, can you fix this already? If you're not too busy erasing innocuous comments that is. Wouldn't want to interfere with that important work. Thanks for all the hard work I'm sure will be done to resolve this issue...

RE: [SCRIPT] Allow Weapons in some places.
You can already manually equip any single weapon you want in any location using a trainer like menyoo and happily strut around your house, like a gun wielding maniac in front of your family.
Zippo Raid created the mod "Friendly Fire" which comes in handy for Machinimas. Not sure if it allows you to equip your weapon anywhere or not, without a trainer, but it does allow you to blow away anyone, including your wife and daughter (assuming you're Michael). Since the screenshot features Michael pointing a shotgun at Amanda's chest, (in their kitchen) just try that one if you're too lazy to use a trainer every time.
