Hello. About 3 years ago I was messing around with XB30Hazard's GTA V Save editor and I decided to extract the PSIN from the save. I opened it in a Hex Editor and searched the hash of a throw-able weapon. (Jerry Can I think). I then had the idea of replacing that hash in all it occurrences throughout the file with the Fire Extinguisher hash. My idea is that it would put that in my inventory. AND IT WORKED! I made a video showing how to do it and I'm not sure if it worked for the 1,500 others but some said they had issues. I tried my method again recently and it never seems to work. I'm not sure if this a PS3 exclusive method but to my knowledge weapons such as the Fire Extinguisher don't save. I am 100% positive this worked for me. If anyone has any knowledge regarding why this worked in the first place or has anything to contribute to my knowledge of GTA saves feel free to let me know.

I am working on a mod that replaces the item pickup sound effect. I matched all the attributes of the original file as far as I know. Upon launching the game all the sound effects in that RPF file are silent. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
