Ok so, moving the files to mods folder (keeping a backup on a separate drive to save time and not have to redownload files if something broke) works...sort of. Update/X64 needs to be in the main game folder or Sociial Club won't initialize. Everything file I planned to mod moved. Game started almost normally. Loaded slow and there was a message "Loading Model" in the lower right corner. Game crashed before loading finished. This with unmodded vanilla files.

Trying to change the color of mav_sign_1.dds without messing up the gradient but when I adjust the sliders of Hue and Saturation it doesn't change. Using paint.net. The file is in maverick+hi.ytd. Am I missing something here?

Menyoo and Addonpeds should still be working since they wouldn't be in the mods folder.

Is there another texture file that makes the helicopter blade tips yellow when they aren't spinning? Helicopters in my game have yellow blade tips that change to red when they begin to spin.

@Jitnaught Thanks for that. I'm not a programmer though so I'm not sure what to do with any of that.

@R3QQ need to at least move it up a little, it is going beneath the bottom of the screen and that doesn't look right to me. I figured out how to move other elements around but just not the phone. Can't find anything anywhere that control it's position.

@mjames867 Actually there's a workaround for the launcher insisting we need to update.

So, downgrading is not pointless. These people are resourceful and good at figuring out these things.
