well , in that case you still need to free up space in drive C , win10 OS needs 15gb + of space to breath and your gta5 needs 30gb+ free of space enable to operate properly . if you don't follow that ethic then it will have fps lag forever. . that is standard for triple AAA gaming, no free enough free space no good permorfance.

because basically the game needs big free space in your hdd which suppose it to be installed. , the game needs at least 30gb+ free of space enable to run it smooth, also if C drive is a System OS partition then it also needs to breath ,so if your drive :C has lesser space then you should not put gtaV game folder there.

you must try uninstalling openiv.asi and load the game without mods first , now if it gets back with normal fps without freezing then it is confirmed that it is some add on cars you downloaded which causing it that I am talking about.

that happened coz you have downloaded cars that have unecessarily textured with 32 bits no compression having 4k and up resolutions, weak cpu and gpu will suffer.

it would be possible by reconstructing dlc and change namehashes into real names. . . but Its not proven right now as i tried once an only canspawn the grasses. . . i will try again one day after going on with current mods.

You can bring map editor if you installed it correctly, you must have a working latest scripthook version if you have a latest game version. . And you dont need openIV if you only use map editor but you will need openIV for installing other non script based mod. . . Also after installing openIV go to settings and click install openiv.asi ,opencamera.asi,and the third .asi to make it fully working.

If you have downloaded cars that has 2k n up resolution with 32 bit textures and you have weak gpu then you will end up getting fps freezing problem like you are experiencing.. you need to optimize those textures in photoshop.

the only way if you did not have a backup copies or did not install in the mods folder is to verify games files through epicgames store launcher and then it will be updated with correct files.

streamed peds are peds that have separate slices of body parts including props. . but non-streamed peds are usually a ped that has body components in 1 .ydd file , example of non-streamed ped are ambient peds in the game and streamed peds are the players or the cutscene actors..

[Tutorial/Doc] How to make .ydr prop assets be capable of using Alpha-Mask/transparency in the gameposted in Tutorials
This is for new mappers and to those who don't know yet who always like to use Tricks of Alpha Textures and want to make it to in-game via .ydr prop. I'd Like it posted here so that it will be not forgotten and be essential for mapping.
This is for the ones who don't usually know how to use and don't have access to 3d modeling software or for just basic mappers because most advanced users doesn't want to share it since they have their 3ds max to do it.
note: Alpha-mask is responsible for making an image work with transparency, google it to know more.
Start of tutorial:
1. From your props.rpf file extract the object.ydr that you want to be alpha mask enabled prop using OpenIV to open formats to anywhere you want like Desktop.2. Now that you extracted it , you now have the objectname.odr file and a objectname folder file (containing related files) , proceed to editing the .odr file by right-clicking it and use notepad++ to edit the file for a comfortable reason.
3. The editing page pops.out now and we will start editing, there you will see the contents of the .odr file of your prop. . an example here below:

in that part is the shader material , we just need to change the name of it for another appropriate name to be able for the game to recognize it as a alpha-mask/transparency capable :
now start changing default.sps to cutout.sps as very simple as that.
If you have a very long multiple entries of default.sps name then you can use notepad++ to rename them at an instant fast by using the replacer tool, press ctrl+f and look for replace tab :
just put default.sps in |findwhat:| bar and in the |replace with:| bar you put cutout.sps then click Replace all button. and then at once all names has now replaced.
4. Now save the changes in you objectname.odr now so you are ready to re-import them to your game files.
5. You can now drag and drop back the .odr file to your prop.rpf in your dlc, after doing so then your prop is now made recognizable in-game as a alpha-transparency capable object when using a transparent or alpha-masked texture.
6. Now open the game and Good Luck for mapping!
use alpha-masking in any technique that suits you with just by a .ydr prop.-- a very short Tut and important matter for map creators, Thank you for reading ! --

You will need Nvidia dds plugin . . it comes with .dds file opener to edit in PS and has Normal Map filter which can generate normal maps,for specular map is just to create a copy of your colored texture and then desaturate the color to zero its just black and white , making it brighter is more shine effect and making it darker is less shine effect as specular. .
basically you can create normalmaps in photoshop at your own custom design . . just google and download that plugin on nvidia website..
thers 2 version.. 64 bit installer is for 64 bit photoshop and 32 bit installer for 32 bit photoshop ..
the last thing is find tutorials on youtube on how to create them . .

from what i have encountered . . if you start adding cars in a working single DLC car that's the start of it . . I dont know if this is a scripthook issue and Im not really sure.
that is true but it will cost more mem consumption if it has too many. You just need to base your mipmap settings to what rockstar has for the sake of stability .. vanilla usually is having 8 mipmaps for high textures and 7 low textures /sometimes 6 .. for normal maps it is even only 1 mipmap up to 4 is ok..
mipmaps can smoothen graphics in game otherwise the textures will get jagged sharp that is why you need to balance. ..GTA V is a big WORLD game and so many resources is being use while the engine runs and it is not advisable to use ARGB textures at all. . perhaps 1 per .ytd is fine ..
