Just restore it to the original state. Most of the downgrades that you can download only work on cracked versions anyways. I've tried the regular and Steam downgrades. The regular one leads to the activation code, and the Steam one leads to the anti-piracy "Please make sure that each button has only one use" (which is impossible btw).

RE: Beaters - Why is every Civillian Vehicle brand new?posted in Requests
Hm, the gameconfig file that comes with Vanilla Work's Extended Pack (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/vanillaworks-extended-pack-add-on-oiv-tuning-liveries-vanillaworks-and-other-modders) helps cheaper vehicles spawn in low-income areas. At least it has done that in my experience.

RE: New to the game - What do you suggest?posted in General Modding Discussion
Wow, those look like huge goals. But for the handling, you can adjust the following in any handling.meta file:
<fTractionCurveMax value="-" />
<fTractionCurveMin value="-" />
<fTractionCurveLateral value="-" />
<fTractionSpringDeltaMax value="-" />which should give you your desired amount of grip. Keep in mind that you'll have to do some observing of different values among different vehicles and then experimenting to find that desired grip and adjust it for each vehicle's performance.
Also keep in mind that if a dlc.rpf has a handling file in the dlc_patch located in the update.rpf, it will obey the handling file in dlc_patch and not the one in the regular dlc.rpf. That had me wondering why my changes to certain dlc files weren't actually changing.
I hope you enjoy this community, but keep in mind that some people who go here (especially during times of waiting for the Scripthook to update) will be short-tempered and impatient, but I hope that they don't deter you from finding enjoyment here.

@Cyron43 Wait, R* did that on purpose? That's not poorly made AI driving behavior?
As for #3, check the light settings on carvariations and compare them to a car with the light settings that you like.

Menyoo also has that feature, and it just got updated for when the new Scripthook comes out.

@Rizzle45 You can modify the visual damage in the handling file. It would only take a minute.

RE: Community reaction is crazy when game is updating/scripthookposted in General Modding Discussion
@Rizzle45 Rockstar doesn't have to cater to the modding community. You're not the center of this game, and I'd recommend relaxing, waiting five days (two remaining ATM) for Scripthook to update, and enjoying the new content when mods get updated. After all, this update isn't pointless because many of us demanded the vehicles that were added.

The last one took only five days. Play some other game in the mean time.
