Then again, I don't understand how people can afford to own/run a computer powerful enough to run this GTAV, yet can't afford $5 a month for the software they want to make money with. 3DS Max is free to eligible students and I can pretty much guarantee 100% that anyone who isn't a student or professional artist, doesn't have a paid-for Max license... $1,470 a year ($185 a month) when $5 a month is too much.
Most people save up for a period of time for their computers. Software seems a lesser priority, and most have easier ways of obtaining said software, and aren't willing to shell out extra cash if the amount of income earned from said software doesn't meet a certain criteria. The reason the developers of said software expect such large amounts of money for said software in the first place, is for business related purposes. I don't think they really care too much if you're just using said software for said personal use, but once you start using said software for commerical use, they expect some commission and credit where it's due.
Once I start making mods and developing, everything I release will be donation-ware, but I'll have a few premium models not unlike what China_Dazu does.
Ya'know what I'm saying?
@rappo said in 6 Star rating instead of 5 Star:
Well a 6-star system makes no sense since that's not a rating standard anywhere, but I don't see the point in increasing it. Even if it's out of 10 stars, people will still probably just rate 1 or 10. At this point, the rating system probably won't change.

I disagree.
for the most part, rappo is probably right. You already have sorting based off the number of ratings and the highest rating. So that's fine.
@420x420 said in 6 Star rating instead of 5 Star:
@JZersche lol adding one star onto the equation isn't going to change shit. I'm pretty sure @rappo has been thinking about doing 10 stars because every now and then when your writing a comment or click on am ods page you'll actually see ten stars but back to the point. 6 stars instead of 5 isnt going to change shit. But 10 stars would add more diversity towards the rating system.
I thought 10 starts, but I figured incorporating 6 would require less scripting, because then every mod that's been rated 5 stars now retains it's original rating, and only lacks a star. If user want they can go back and change their ratings to 6 if the mods really that great. 10 stars would be better.
People seem to rate mods rather highly, I feel like adding an extra star would provide more of a defined rating. You know, if it's 5 stars, you say okay it must be absolutely incredible, but a lot of mods rated 5 are close to 4 or 4.5 stars.
What other alternatives are there to NativeUI? How would a GTA V Menu be created without it, or how could one? You could just create your own menu in C#, right? Why not do that? The advantages and disadvantages of NativeUI, are?
