So I don't have anything too crazy for mods, just some add-on cars & peds basically. But after the latest update I can't even run the game properly, messing with the settings doesn't help either, but at this point I'm consistently getting like 5 FPS when I was hitting high 40-50's before. Is this happening for anybody else?

Any Updated/Well-Made Tutorials On Creating Custom Player Peds?posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
I've been trying for so long, and wasting so much time attempting to create a custom player ped, or even at the least replace pieces of an existing ped, but because of the few poorly made resources out there, I haven't been able to get anything to work.
Problem is there are so few resources available to get information from. The few Youtube videos that are still up are poorly made (not detailing steps, no voice over, not doing what the title says) & the few text tutorials I've found have been poorly written as well (filled with grammar mistakes, author possibly confusing steps mid-way through, etc.)
So I was just curious if anybody can link me to a source that they know works for sure, or if they're experienced with it, to help run me through the process.
I have a fair bit of experience with model editing & such, so it wouldn't be like teaching from scratch, I just need a guideline to help me figure this out, thank you.

RE: ReShade Crashing My Gameposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
Well I can totally confirm that I am running the latest version, and have tried using older versions as well, but nothing seems to work with it.

@TheMurderousCricket What part leads you to believe that it's version incompability? Not saying you're wrong, just curious.
I got all the latest files & checked to see if they're compatible with the Casino update 1737 (they are).
I've learned that it is simply ReShade crashing the game, I've done multiple clean installs of the game & only used ReShade & it crashes just the same. I also tried using it in other "compatible" games, and it crashes.

RE: ReShade Crashing My Gameposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
@TheMurderousCricket My launcher version is the latest one. I've tried downgrading & seeing if it will work again but it doesn't.
Barely anybody else seems to have reported problems with getting ReShade to work with the latest version of GTA V, so I don't think it has to do with the versions of either being incompatible.
Lastly, that was my first guess, that part of the update got into my files. This is why (as I explained) I've uninstalled, and downgraded, and made sure I was using all the same versions before I opened the game again, but still ReShade crashes my game.
I am so lost on what to do from here, and anybody else I've asked seems to be as well, as anything they've suggested I've tried & it doesn't work.

ReShade Crashing My Gameposted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
My problems started when I wanted to play GTA again after a while.
I had Redux & Reshade working perfectly on my game before, and the only error I made was I forgot to disconnect from the internet before starting up the launcher.
So the update for the latest version of GTA started and I quickly closed out of it, and disconnected from the internet & tried starting it up again.
The game crashed when it booted up, and since then, I've been trying to get Reshade to work on my game ever since.
I've tried downgrading my version of the game, removing all mods, running the .dll through a separate injector, changing the game's compatibility to an older version of Windows etc.NOTHING WORKS
Then I remembered I made a backup folder with the reshade files & I included a text document in case I ever had to install reshade again.
So I tried doing what I wrote in the text document, & the most common solution which was just to rename all the "dxgi" files to "d3d11" which apparently worked for me before.
But now whenever I do that, ReShade isn't detected at all, and it's as if I never had it installed.(Redux works fine btw, from my deductions it's literally just Reshade that's giving me problems,
but I don't want to play the game without it.) -
RE: Manual Transmission Mod Not Working!posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
This is the tutorial I followed:
So just to be clear, this is all I am supposed to do to make my wheel work?
Btw I'm using the Thrustmaster T150, as are many others who got this to work.

Manual Transmission Mod Not Working!posted in Installation Help & Troubleshooting
I've been up all night trying to figure out how to get this to work. I followed this tutorial step-by-step, and referenced others to make sure I didn't do anything else. But everytime I open the Manual Transmission trainer, I can assign the inputs (axis, throttle, brake, etc.) to my wheel, but once it says it's saved each input, and I back out and scroll down to my wheel it says "This device hasn't been set up yet!". PLEASE HELP, I've tried the x360ce method as well, but nothing works.
The only thing I could find on the creators github page, was that in the configuration file, if you look under the [INPUT DEVICES] section, your wheel should show up there once all the settings have been saved, but mine doesn't pop up at all.
P.S. I haven't configured EVERY input, since I don't have enough pedals/buttons on my wheel to do so. But it doesn't seem like that's an issue for anybody else using this.
I'm running the latest version of GTA 5 & Manuel Transmission Mod.
I wish I could post a .log file, but there is none that comes up after I've tried configuring my setup in the game.
