i have the same problem from some reason mods work on my laptop but not on my desktop which is 3 months old. I've tried every trick in the book and nothing works at least on my desktop

Hi ive got gta 5 installed on both my laptop and desktop and for some reason i cant get any mods to work on my brand new desktop. Addon or replacement mods will not work at all no matter what i do. But if i go use my laptop mods will work i have dozens of mods on my laptop that do work but not on my desktop. I have all the recent updates installed on both my systems everything is up to date

basically since the beginning of November i built brand new pc so I could run gta better than on my laptop. Mods worked totally fine on my laptop but since I've built this new desktop I have not been able to get a single mods working NOT ONE even replacement vehicle mods don't work. I've followed all the install instructions to the letter when it comes to modding i have the newest script hook update that came out on 12/18/20 I've got the newest simple trainer update. IVE TRIED EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK AND NOTHING WORKS

@SentinelMad i had open iv on my laptop and i did have mods on there would that have any affect because this is a brand new pc i just built

thats what i always do and nothing works no matter what mod i install

for well over a month now I've been trying to install addon mods and not a single one will work simple trainer will not read any of the mods i have installed. I've tried all the trainers menyoo ent simple trainer and native trainer. I have all the newest updates installed script hook v gameconfig file simple trainer and none of them will work. I need help is there anyone out there that can help me please

so a few days ago my dumbass decided it was a good idea to try to install gat 5 redux. Lets just say I messed up real bad it has made me go nuts and I didn't realize you need to delete any add-on mods you had installed needed to be completely deleted which I had a couple of installed over the last 72 hrs I have been trying to fix it and restore it over to its original state. I had multiple issues with redux including crashing on start error messages some I had it installed on my gta directory which is what the official instruction video said

I followed everything on here to the letter didn't work I someone on the steam forums told me to install it to my mods folder which forced me to go and reclean my gta directory which didn't help at all and it would even start the game up so I decided to dump this whole idea together and just go back to the standard gta base game I had to delete my mods folder all together and make new mods folder. I reinstalled my add on mods and trainers that I had I was able to bootup the game 100% fine but none of my mods work I just get invalid model AND I DID INSTALL A NEW GAMECONFIG FILE AS WELL anyone able to help

hello everyone just yesterday i downloaded this addon mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mammoth-devastator-add-on-custom-weapons i thought it looked cool so i followed the instructions on the read me file to the letter. I loaded up the game i typed in devast which was the code to spawn it in i get invaild model. So i went in to openiv i deleted the mod in the dlc packs file and info in the dlclist xml file went back into the game and none of my addon mods work now the only vehcials that spawn in are the cars planes etc that the game launched with. However when the doomsday dlc update came out i guess the update deleted all my addon mods so i had to reinstall all my stuff including a new gameconfig file update that worked for my.
However its just this one addon mod that really f"ed my over was was totally fine before then any ideals
