@iksr I have not forgotten you and those who remember this car as "Simca 1200". I made additional textures that you will be able to replace after installation. Also you will be able to change the car name.

@Buribilu Yes, Citroen used to be very special. I’ve only made a DS so far. But I believe there will be some more in the future. Maybe "Ami" ... or "Dyane"

I made two versions ... European (1100) and American (1204). They differ in license plates and badges. In addition, the American version has side markers. @satyricon84 I didn't forget side markers:-D
Here are the LODsUS version:

@iksr Me encantaba esta canción cuando era adolescente...Jeanette es la hija de un padre belga-congoleño de origen maltés y una madre española originaria de las Islas Canarias, nació en Londres y creció en Chicago y en La Habra, California,. Después de la separación de sus padres cuando tenía 12 años, se trasladó a Barcelona con su madre, su hermano menor y su hermana...

@Buribilu No, not yet. Next, I have to make LODs. It also takes time. To finish all I need another week or two.

The car, which has been in production for three decades, understandably had many different dashboards. Here are some:

I chose the early seventies. I adjusted the speedometer to fit the Schafter dials (I might make a replace version for "Blista"), so it will accurately show the speed in MPH...

All in all the result is not perfect but it resembles enough. Here is a screenshot from ZModeler:

I still have a lot of work to do on the interior. When I finish that - I will show it on video.

I’ve been doing a lot of welding lately. I reduced about 900k polygons...

... so now I can show the first shots from the game. A few more details are missing, such as badges, but that will come too.

Next, follows the addition of polygons. I need to make the interior, but before that I will see what I can do for the engine. (I will let you know) -
[VEHICLE][WIP] SIMCA 1100 / 1200 / 1204 (1967 - 1985)posted in Releases & Works in Progress
Founded in November 1934 by "Fiat", in 1970 became a brand of "Chrysler Europe", After in 1978 "PSA (Peugeot-Citroën)" took over the company it was merged with "Talbot" and after a short period disappeared... It is...

The Simca 1100 is a car built from 1967 to 1982 by Simca /It was replaced by the Simca-Talbot Horizon.
The 1100 was the result of "Project 928", started in 1962. In 1963, "Chrysler" took a controlling interest in Simca, approving the project in 1964, with a production target of summer 1967
The model I work with is provided by IKSR (once again, thanks)
The model has a lot of polygons, practically no interior and no engine ... a lot of work

I need to test everything. I also do snapshots along the way. If I don’t find some mistake I hope to complete it today or tomorrow .

LODs are done:

...many polygons have been reduced, but everything looks fine in the game (to me) :

Will be released soon ...
I won't spend time on tuning parts or on the replace version... maybe just a little more on license plates, and of course some time for lods

@GreenAid I want to make replace versions in a way that no additional editing is needed ... it's not for me, it's for other users ... Thanks for the template, it will be useful for me in the future

Spent some time on dashboard an dials. I finally got satisfied
I used truck dials (hard to map) ... if I make replace version I will have to use something else. -

@Frostelis Yes. I used "bobble_base" and "bobble_hand" bones. Unfortunately this eliminates the nodding dog. Only one of those "nodding bobble things" can be in the car.

@HRH I tried that. The part needs to be shortened to fit.

All together it affects the proportions so in the end it doesn’t look very good.

Otherwise, the size of the air filter is not identical in all images (probably depending on the year of manufacture ). There’s also sometimes a tube addition that I’m thinking about as well.

All in all, trust me, in the end I will choose the most optimal option. Most often, it is a compromise between authenticity and appearance.
