My name is Namie, and my love for Asia was caused by music. I can listen to music while playing games, but no one was making what I wanted for GTA5, and I was only able to make designs. So I made and uploaded GTA5 Asian designs....and I didn't stop.
So now I have music, gaming, and Asia...kind of....Asian GTA5.
@Kwebbl That didn't work. The yft files for x64c have DDS's embedded. Changing the ytd didn't do anything. I changed the ytd images with the same 256 x 128, DDS with 6 mid maps settings too.
So do all yft's have DDS's from ytd files embedded?
When I changed the ytd, the DDS's in the yft's had the same image as before.

So I'm very new to GTA PC and ever since I found License Plate mods, I've wanted to make my own designs.
The question is how?
I need to find a program for free that lets me create DDS files/convert PNG to DDS files. Is Gimp free and able to make DDS? Preferably making DDS files from scratch. I don't know how to delete the background for image making, so the plate has corners. I also need to know how to do the blue mask that you can see on the veshare.ytd file in x64e.
Is it possible to create add-on license plates? If so, how?
